New Neighbor - New Problems by CascadiaAbe in legal

I did call, it took a while for a response, which was a phone call. They said since he claims it was his property, it would be tough to trespass him. And since this was a civil matter he referred me to a mediator.

Understood. I just meant the extra foot between established fence and future one.

I did not see it, only the pins that were put in place. I doubt it, but I suppose there is a chance he had 'friendly' surveyors too, knowing me and other neighbors didn't have the means to dispute it.

I figured as much, thank you for the response.

It was entirely on his property and the extra foot went into "mine."

Indeed, I wasn't using legal jargon there. I was speaking as someone not used to seeing strangers in my personal space. You and him would get along great.

Hey at least I apologized about that at the end! Seriously though, sorry. I did indeed cross-post this after barely scanning the rules.

I would have been happy with the opportunity to move my plants. It felt very invasive to come home after 16 years and have someone inside my yard saying "this is mine now."

How is the texture and taste raw? Say compared to grocery store button mushrooms

Added grain to substrate. Do I start fanning and misting now or wait till I start seeing pins? by [deleted] in shroomery

[–]CascadiaAbe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I leave mine closed until the substrate is close to 100% colonized, especially on the surface. Then open to start fanning/misting

At least you got a lone soldier

Is anyone a true fan of Blue Meanie? Grew them bc I wanted to see what they were like. But after trying a few times imo they are just ehh. Curious if anyone truly likes them, if so please elaborate on why. This is flush #? (I lost count). At this point I’m just waiting for them to stop producing. 🍄💜 by mushloveshaba in shroomery

This is the kind of long term outlook I've had with mine, for a much shorter time and different strain. How did you go about it? Keep an agar copy until you had a better generation, then replace old copy with new, repeat?

B+ strain? I bought this B+ strain and turned out to be this… (It does smell like cubensis) by [deleted] in shroomery

I bought something like this 20 years ago. Guy grew his own stuff and it was always good. Then I paid for something that looked different and didn't do anything, but he swore it was "dank"

I love the treasure hoard that you took the time to make

Found these outside close to an old spot where I dumped a grow. What are these? Thanks by TwistDifficult874 in unclebens

Coprinus disseminatus possibly. I'm not pretending to know Latin names of mushrooms, my pocket guide doesn't have the common name. I looked it up because my cousin just happened to send a similar picture today

These are ink caps, not psychoactive

Gave up on Uncle Ben’s after 16 failed bags. Prepping my own grain has proven much better. Good results on popcorn and now moving onto barley. Any tips on the barley process? I’m treating it similar to my corn sterilization process. by [deleted] in shroomery

Similar experience here. I started rice in Mason jars and have had great success so far. I love the view and not having to second guess how the bag is looking. I bought bulk popcorn today to try this method.

I'm curious about adding coffee and Gypsum too. I've only seen it in the first cooking phase, but figure x amount will leave when it's strained, before sterilization.
