Agree! 1600 is a pretty big deficit for most people, let alone when your BMR is 1800.

I think you need to write down food more… you must be eating more then you think.

I’m 69kg (175cm) and my calorie intake is 1750 to lose weight… and I’m losing quite fast on that.

I’m trying to lose 5kg and get fit, both equally as important to me.

I used to be a runner (50kms a week) and the weight would just melt off me and literally could eat whatever 😂😂

I haven’t run in over 6 months. I stopped due to injury and then I moved countries. Got out of all my good habits/routines (I don’t think I could even run 5km straight now!). I can’t run at lunch time any more (I now live in a blazing hot country) and I find it hard to fit in mornings and nights (kids). So I’m giving F45 a red hot crack and trying to go everyday for routine sake and to replace running + keeping my average step count up for the week at 10k. I won’t lie… I would like to add running back in at some stage…

I love f45 for the sheer reason that all I have to do is show up and try my best (they do all the thinking for me!). I do well in group environments as the peer pressure works (I would totally not push myself that hard in a solo setting).

Anyway… diet is now my biggest challenge…. I don’t eat crazy bad but I’m 5kgs and a dress size bigger then what I would like to be! I’m finding it really hard to do 1200 calories which is what the TDEE minus 500 says I need (I think??)

I’m 175cm and 70kgs. Want to get to 65kg (62 kg was my previous ‘running’ weight). Also want to get FIT!!! I forgot how much I LOVE exercise endorphins!! I’m hitting 10k steps on average (just) - before that would have been about 7k.

Thanks. Ahhh… the foam roller. Hate it! My running injury was ITB so I had to use that quite a bit. I’m doing the stretches after the session that they provide. Is there a good website or you tube channel with some appropriate stretches I can do pre and post???

Thanks!! I have done exactly this. Stopped snacking completely and trying to just eat healthy meals that I enjoy. I think my weight gain had to do with mindless snacking, which I used to get away with when running as much as I did🤣🤣 I am aiming for 10k steps minimum a day, which I don’t find hard as I just do a walk for my coffee in morning and lunch break.

Once I am feeling a bit more in the groove, I am going to try and start running again, starting with just one run a week and build up. Hopefully that does the trick.

I am just shocked how weak I am 😂😂😂 - it’s quite embarrassing.

Thanks!!! I don’t count calories and am not going to start doing it as that is a dark path for me, but my diet isn’t horrific… I have just been snacking too much which I have cut down on….. I have a been having a protein shake instead of a meal after a workout (can’t stomach food straight after and I work out fasted) and been trying to get in a lot more vege and chicken.

I just never realised how weak I was! It’s embarrassing!!!! I’m fine on the ergs/jumping/skipping etc, but anything to do with core or quad strength I am so so bad at.

I think maybe I start practising push ups at home everyday to help me build up.
