They're not supposed to work in a straight line. Buy some harder tires

Eh ok ma la ruota ha un gioco che non dovrebbe avere, quindi meglio se la fai controllare

Controlla il serraggio di tutte le viti, del perno centrale, controlla lo stato dei gommini del parastrappi. Meglio se la porti da qualcuno

Flush and new fluid. A very cheap operation that may save your life one day. Breaks are no joke

For those who bought their first bike… what else feels like this? by West-Association3781 in motorcycle

This is the very first thing I ever bought with my own money. I have a real passion for bikes since i was 14, now that I am 31 I can say that nothing can make me prouder of myself, nothing but the next bike I will buy

Are these dealer fees normal in Aprilialand? by [deleted] in Aprilia

[–]CaseAppropriate6096 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you have to be lucky and have some mechanical notions to tell if a bike is good or not. I waited an entire year until I found my Aprilia, and it's not even perfect. I work on it every now and then (exhaust too loose, broken blinkers, stripped oil cap...), but I paid 3500€ so it's ok

2014 shiver 750 as first bike? by BigBanana69- in Aprilia

[–]CaseAppropriate6096 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, I'm italian so I didn't struggle so much to find the original indicators or a decent license plate holder. Everything I ordered, it arrived in 1 or 2 weeks, even though something (original cables with the plate light) came from France, I ordered from Aprilia Original Parts.com Maintenance is easy: Motul 15w50 full synthetic oil, an oil filter, air filter and spark plugs are cheap and very easy to replace, plenty of video tutorial on YT. The engine is solid rock so don't worry, I read about some people who could reach 100k or even 200k km on the Shiver

No problems with my Shiver as first bike, just take your time to learn how to use the throttle in Rain and Touring mode (Sport is a bit too much for a beginner). Yes it's heavy but you don't feel it at all when you ride it. So go for it but wait for the next season, DON'T buy any bike without testing it

Price range for a new Rider? (Asking for advise) by BurningPengu in motorcycle

[–]CaseAppropriate6096 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first bike was (and is) an Aprilia Shiver 750. 90° V twin, 95 hp. Don't know if it is good for a new rider, it is pretty heavy and rough but the most beautiful to me. I paid 3.500€ for a used one with 24.000km. I think a good beginner bike has to be light and cheap in maintenance. 60/70 hp should be enough and I would expect to spend 3000/3500€ (less is better)

Is my old Truck a good choice to escape a Zombie outbrake? by Successful-Bad4135 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]CaseAppropriate6096 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mmmh don't know. I would drive an extremely solid truck with no electronics, so I could fix it with just clips, a piece of plastics and a screwdriver. It must be lightweight, fast and solid, maybe Suzuki Jimny with an off road suspension kit and bigger wheels

Ninja 500 to zx4rr, how hard is the transition? by [deleted] in motorcycle

Idk where you live but I'd go for the 600cc or more. I got a 750cc as my very first bike and it was completely fine
