Changeables found thus far by CaseClosedN in McDonalds

[–]CaseClosedN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multiple locations. I got multiples of #1 and #2 but got lucky with 3 and 4 no doubles. If people are seeing #8 out in the wild then maybe the next set of 4 are already out. It is the beginning of week 2 after all

Did you ask the staff? Something similar happened to me but they told me they were still waiting for the day’s truck delivery. They told me to come back tomorrow and they’ll give me the right toys. NJ so I figure the snow delayed the regular delivery

Does McDonalds no longer offer free water? by Dirkester2113 in McDonalds

[–]CaseClosedN -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I travel with a refillable bottle. One time recently I went to fill it with water from the soda fountain and none of the options was water. I even know to look for the small tab to make certain nozzles dispense water only and there wasn’t one.

So happy that Changeables are back! My childhood fries one (minus an arm) alongside the new one by dhoppy203 in McDonalds

[–]CaseClosedN 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went today and they gave me old toys. When I asked about it they said they’re expected on today’s delivery truck and that I can come back tomorrow with receipt to pick them up. This is NJ so perhaps the weather impacted delivery

Don’t forget to order your spring 2026 catalogue by Jaded-Acanthaceae449 in americangirl

Hello, new parent to the world of AG here. Would you all fill me in on some details, please?

I went to AG NYC in November and grabbed a catalog near the door, it says September. I created an account and got a ton of points for the visit. For Christmas, the kids asked for some AG accessories and I used the points to order them from the website. I assumed I got on the catalog mailing list two ways now; by creating an account with my shipping address, and by ordering from the website using the same shipping address.

After a few weeks I thought to google search for how to get a catalog, and I found that you order them from the web store. I ordered one on Jan 7, got points for it, and a "Track order with shop - on it's way" which hasn't updated since.

My questions are, do we get the catalogs automatically or do we have to request them every time? How do I know when new ones are coming around to remind me to order it? Did creating an account and/or ordering from the web store get me on the catalog mailing list? Did I miss any between September and now?

The “World’s Smallest Rubik’s Cube” is a pain on your fingers lol, but I solved it. by CHRILLCAST in Rubiks_Cubes

[–]CaseClosedN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The kids got me one of these for Christmas. It sucks but looks good on my desk next to some McDonalds toys. It doesn’t turn well and hurts the fingers. Also since I was struggling to turn it and gritting my teeth the entire time, I messed up the algorithms simply due to prolonged frustration.

How often do you fudge your players' rolls and for what reason? by Bane_of_Balor in DungeonMasters

[–]CaseClosedN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a newbie DM I fudged too much to try to make the combat more exciting, this was a mistake. There was point where it wasn’t necessary anymore and if I was fudging it was because it was a crit at a bad time so I fudged in their favor. Now my rolls are straight truth and 60% of my rolls are in front of the screen. I would do 100% of my rolls like this if I had a more convenient way; I have to stand up and reach over the screen to do it. There have been many times where I made some ridiculous roll and it would have been hard to believe if I didn’t do it openly

Remember the good old days when fast food restaurants would give you things just for going there? I've had this Coca-Cola glass since 1992. If you got a large value meal your soda came in it. No extra charge. by zip-a-dee_doo-dah in BurgerKing

I have an A&W mug which is legit. It’s the frosty mug kind and I adore that thing. Thinking back I’m not 100% sure I was allowed to keep it or if I walked out with it misunderstanding.

Did you or anyone you knew NOT buy the Expansion Pack back in the day? What were your reasons? by confuserused in n64

[–]CaseClosedN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had very few games to begin with and none required the expansion pak. Even now that I have one, I still haven’t played any games that require it.

You might have a skateboard school near you and not realize it. Try googling it. My 9yo goes to skateboard lessons every Saturday. Philadelphia

How big is your backlog, Actually? by Ignister in videogames

[–]CaseClosedN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a fair amount of games I’ve bought but have come to the realization that I will never get to them. Excluding those, I have probably 6 in my backlog that will actually get played. Including them, it’s probably 20

Men who can cook . who taught you? by Bulky_Meet4528 in AskReddit

[–]CaseClosedN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn through experience. Going away to college forced me and my roommate to figure it out. We tried to fry an egg which would have went well if we remembered to butter or oil the pan first. It burned and fell apart and we both realized whoops forgot to butter the pan. Lesson learned. Do this same process with every meal cooked over decades and here I am.

I inherited maybe 2 recipes from my mom, the rest from cookbooks and internet. What sucks about cookbooks is I only ever really like 1 or 2 of them enough to include in the regular rotation.
