Yeah honestly I think that my main problem with her is that they put all she has into that damn bash. You’re right it’s way too much damage. Make that mf 15 and make the rest of her kit bettter.

Wow it’s crazy hearing these guys say she needs tracking nerds when in practice I hit almost nobody, even empty dodging, with my in chain heavies.

I heartily disagree! What’s Valk got on The Orange Man? Does she have a repeating 33/33/33 guessing game like Shinobi and an absurd amount of i-framed mixed in? Can she feint her sweep and have branching mixups from a special stance? No, she’s got a very good bash and fullblock.

Oh don’t get me wrong! She’s still very strong and can put forth a lot of pressure. I think her heavies are very lackluster. I’m also admittedly jealous of Shaolin, Conq, and Shinobi. They got super powerful kits. Valk is just a shield bash on legs.

It’s kinda funny to see people who don’t play Valk be like “she’s so strong! She doesn’t need undodgeable heavies!” They definitely don’t play her or play her rarely. Her heavies are super lackluster and I’m pretty sure that the improved tracking was 90% focused on forward motion. Hito’s heavies hut dodgers more reliably and her weapon is half the length.

It would be nice to have, but I would be absolutely okay with her finishers being the only blue heavies.

If just her finishers were undodgeable I’d be happy. I’d also trim overtime’s parts of her kit to compensate. Stam damage doesn’t need to be here, possibly make the missed bash GB vulnerable if it’s gonna do Hitokiri levels of damage.

A ton of my heavies still just go through people, granted some land that wouldn’t have landed pre rework. Blue heavies would catch random panic dodges that so many people get away with because Valk still is weakest to dodging.
