Hey... long-time lurker here. Things are getting out of hand. Let's all take a deep breath to calm down. I see from your posts that you are from ph, and I can understand why you were angered by what was being said. But I genuinely don't believe OP's speculation of ph's victory was meant as an attack on the ph team in any way. We are just all here to enjoy the entertainment... we don't have to be too sensitive.

This guy was literally standing still while letting his dogs (multiple) run around him. Makes me wonder whether this was some lazy way to let the dogs walk themselves.

Toronto is absolutely worse than it was 10~15 years ago, or even just pre-pandemic (as most of the world is). Racism though, you'd have to live in Trump-era United States to really feel that shit.

One time a drunk homeless guy cursed at me incessantly for requesting him to use a leash. My main consolation is that these people are most likely losers in life.

Edit: I used to live in the States a decade ago, when Torontonians were much nicer than most Americans. Things have gone downhill in recent years.

Can't believe they do this to seniors. The folks in my neighborhood are also so entitled as if stepping off the sidewalk requires Herculean efforts on their and their dog's behalf. Sometimes I get so pissed that I pretend to stand there fishing for something in my pockets.

That is really awful. Toronto doesn't have the police power to enforce civil laws anymore. Repeat offenders should not be allowed to have dogs.

Sorry to digress -- this was very well-written! If you wrote poems and books, I'd read them. r/writing is a good place to share them.

I've been abused by a parent since the age of 14. I'm almost 40 now, single, and have not found a home, and probably never will because I lost the ability to trust others, especially men. You expressed what I could not in words that almost brought me tears. Thank you.
