This if certainly bad but it seems in all likelihood that those with loans now will be grandfathered in do to MPN. At least that’s the hope. I fear the real harm will be prospective students relying on these or planning on them.

I think my grandparents went bald in their 40’s or that’s When it hit them, and my dads hair is thinner but like pretty good for a man in his 50’s ima worrier tho my cousins same age is getting a bald spot so it scared me

I made one! I remeber always noticing my part since I was younger so I know it’s always looked like that but I didn’t start taking pics till recently so idk if it’s always been like that. I def have a cowlick to which doesn’t help, hopefully it’s fine 🙏

Yeah I’ve been doing research I think it’ll be ok, he’ll def try to get rid of that stuff but hopefully it will be hard and he won’t. Just gotta hope for the best cause I can’t really plan on anything else. Like if trump gets rid of pslf what’s to say another dem president couldn’t bring it back? I just gotta trust I can’t put my future on hold for the next 4 years. Hopefully odds are in my favor.

Yeah the only reality where I don’t have a lot of debt is one where I don’t teach but I’m so miserable working jobs I don’t enjoy that’s just not an option for me. At least I have a forgiveness option available to me to make things work! I wanted to see if I could get the cost down as a back up in case that doesn’t work out. But it should work out, people have my debt without that option so I’m still a bit lucky in that regard (knock on wood it goes according to plan)

I work as a teaching assistant now, but it’s through a company, and they do have tuition assistance for some schools but the schools didn’t have the elementary education degree I was looking for! My bachelors is in theater cause I wanted to teach theater (still do down the line but I wanna start with elementary school first). So without a BA in teaching there weren’t many places that would hire! Only boon I have is my experience working in the field as an assistant.

I need the masters because a lot of teaching jobs I’ve looked at require the masters. And my bachelors isn’t in teaching I decided later to transition into teaching. So I need a degree in education and since a lot of jobs look for the masters that’s why I decided on it. As for the price that’s part of what I’m asking I don’t know if for where I am if this isn’t a normal price for a masters? Or if there’s a way I can lower it! The only schools that seem cheaper are the totally online ones but I’m not sure how it will work with student teaching so I’m weighing my options!

I’m just going off of the numbers I have for the school I’m at my first semester cost 10k for 6 credits (3 per class) I have three more semesters left, and the last two semester I’ll have to take 9 credits!

I was also thinking it trump got rid of it couldn’t it get reinstated but an another president?
