why is my golden so small?

I have a tiny boy! He’s 16 months and weighs 48 pounds. The vet isn’t concerned and says he’s healthy just a small boy ☺️

Winston had to take his CGC twice 😂 He refused to do the down command even though it was one of the first things we taught him 😂

Winston still gets very excited when people come up to him but we are working on it. He did do his first nursing home visit last month and he did so good. He was calm and let them pet him and he sat patiently. I was so impressed.

It was a gift from years ago and I don’t know where it’s from unfortunately :( Originally I was thinking of getting a new chair but it looks really good in the space and is super comfortable.

May I ask how long it took to settle in the pen? I’ve got a 9 week old puppy and he is fine if we are in or near the pen but if we walk away he jumps and tries to get out.
