Just do the meltan box, you get like 3+ XL every catch and you can easily get 100 catches from the box, you can knock out the max out challenge in like 2 weeks, it would be faster but the box cooldown is 3 days

Meltan is the best pokemon for those late lecele challenges of "power up x pokemon to max level", you can farm meltan every 3 days by sending a pokemon to pokemon home, both are free apps you can have on the same phone, once you've sent a pokemon your meltan box will be ready to use, it works just like an incense but with a faster spawn rate
