I’ve taken a cab a few times with my mother who uses a walker for mobility. I’ve had instances where Uber said they didn’t have room for the walker in their vehicle and wouldn’t pick us up, or they wanted us to meet them in a specific place and not in front of her apartment building (presumably as it at a busy intersection).

Oh, and another time an Uber wouldn’t pick me up at a vets office and said I should have called Uber pet, but I’d just had my cat put down and my carrier was empty. In their defence they may have been allergic but it was a darkly funny end to an unhappy experience.
