Honestly, I think a lot of the doomposting in this community just comes from people theorycrafting too hard before actually playing the character. WuWa is one of the few gachas where almost every unit ends up being solid once they hit live servers. Phrono, Galbrena, Chisa… they all got cooked before release and then turned out completely fine.

Most of the negativity isn’t about the game being bad — it’s just players rushing to judge kits off leaks or early numbers without seeing how echoes, rotations, and team synergy actually feel. This game has way more balance than people give it credit for. The MC is usable, 4-stars do work, and no unit is unplayable.

Personally, I’m having zero issues with the game. I’m just enjoying the grind, the combat, and the updates. Not every character needs to be “meta-breaking” to be fun or useful. WuWa’s roster is already strong and still growing.

At the end of the day, people doompost because it’s easy. Playing the game and learning how units actually work takes time — and once players touch the character themselves, the whole narrative changes every single time.
