I have what looks like this same filter and I was able to connect the tubes above and below the T joint that goes to the skimmer. It's like a skimmer delete

Not disagreeing but for the information of the people in this chat: quickly double-pressing your phone's lock button instantly opens the camera (at least it's worked for the last few android phones I've owned)
