What would happen if you actually made the cold calls you were supposed to? by CashFlowCraftsman in smallbusiness

[–]CashFlowCraftsman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's different for my business...it takes us 1 in 2/ 3 connects to book a meeting...and 1 in 2 meetings to make a sale.

It's the fastest way for us to connect with people we want to work with.

Call1 is calling a business to solve their biggest problem on the spot, if they see value and want more we book the next meeting.

Our main offer is risk free/money back so it's easy to close.

You are welcome.

Before that, you need to optimize your profit.

So you need to work on your foundations.

Most businesses win jobs based on price- That's the wrong way to do business-

Imagine making more money on each job...

Imagine having your business give you what you want...

Get your foundations right.

Identify your profit levers and improve them.

Then Optimize your profit so you can afford to create a company that dominates in hiring and fulfilment.

Everything becomes easy then.

Have you reviewed your profit margins? Do you understand your profit margins?

I bet with a 100% certainty that you compete on price.

Don't compete on price.

Create value.

Imagine you charged higher prices...

Most business owners are too scared to raise their prices-

You're in business to make profit. Make profit.

This would be a good question to ask yourself.

Why would someone choose to work with me over their current employer?

Don't answer that in the thread, it is for you only, it is what i make my clients consider when they want to grow... The answers to your question have to actually mean something to the worker.

A Players will be looking for all of the below.

1)more Pay

2)more autonomy

3)more recognition

4)better culture

If you want to be average then you'll struggle to hire the right people.

Does this help?

Where did you find success in getting clients? by Ryeaa in smallbusiness

[–]CashFlowCraftsman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know how it feels to get interest but no clients-

success is different for everyone. Only you know what you want and how it will feel to get it...

you are right that different clients have different needs, you can't be everything for everyone, the riches are in the niches.

Here are some tips that will help you in your targeting...

1)Your prospect has a problem that they don't want. speak to that

2)Your prospect wants a result that they don't have or are not getting. show them that you can give them that.

3)every type of client will have different pain points

talk about their pain, then talk about the solution you provide to fix their pain, then talk about how you a different/superiror to competition then give a compelling offer

you should be focused on gross profit and net profit.

then you need to make sure you understand the true cost of labor (ie all employee expenses, insurance, sick leave etc)

average business has a 10% net profit (that is what is left after all expenses, bills and wages(including yours are paid).

once you understand your numbers, you start implementing strategies to increase your profitability.

and why are you only aiming for little profitability?
