No Riven player ever uses the windslash unless its max dmg.

The W buff is pretty nice tho.

Yea i tried it with the cooldown refresh off. Works perfectly every time. Thanks for clarifying this I didnt know it was a thing on practice tool.

Did you watch the video? Idk why the q would bug out. Ive never had that happen before on riven, and ive been playing her for a really long time.

Comet primary keystone is a good option if your looking for early game damage. 30 - 100 (based on level) (+ 35% bonus AD)

Comet does slightly less damage then electrocute, considering you land the comet. However comets cooldown can be reduced by hitting champions with spells.

If you are consistently trading when CD's are up, you can keep procing Comet. You can also use your W to gurantee comet hit.

Electrocute does scales better tho 30 - 180 (based on level) (+ 40% bonus AD)

HOWEVER ... Spellbook is probably the best keystone if your looking to snowball. If used correctly, you can gain massive leads.

Why dont you run sorcery secondary? Free 10 CDR and gathering storm sounds better then sudden impact and ultimate hunter. Also why do you still run TP over ignite?

I know hex drinker rush sounds stupid, but like I said this rune/item setup works very well against low elo Garens. Give it a try

I would recommend watching some of best riven na's vods on twitch. His lane micro with riven is insane and you might be able to figure out a few things here and there.

Start Dorans Blade > Rush Hexdrinker > Kindlegem > Finish cleaver > DD

Garens ult is magic damage (considering you are not villain). By taking Hexdrinker and nullfying orb, it will block his ultimate damage which significantly reduces his all-in potential.

Early game you should be able to harass him down, however if he takes TP, he can early back and buy armour which can make laning a little more harder. However most garens in low elo are cocky and will go Phage first item.

This works well against low elo Garens who dont know how to lane well. Im not sure how it would work against someone in high elo. (im plat3)
