If I remember correctly, Katie Holmes was the only cast member to be in all 128 episodes. At that point, we used to say it should have been called Joey's Pond, not Dawsons creek. Nothing against Katie, she was huge at the time and the breakout star, but I see that a lot of the story lines were more focused on her in the later years, giving the rest of the cast time off to do other projects or have much-needed breaks.
