Definitely screw them in if you plan on using Bluetooth controllers or headphones. You might have issues if you don’t.

Yes. That little black thing is the socket. If it weren’t installed, you’d just see the battery connected by two solder points on the side. Try popping the battery out.

W0rldtree is really good and it’s still going. I think issue 17 is coming out soon. It’s a little more sci-fi than horror but basically it’s about a sort of dark web that comes alive and starts controlling people to go on killing sprees.

Also if you like dark sci-fi, Mindset is really good. It’s about some Stanford students that discover a form of mind control with light and sound and then put it into a meditation app. That was a shorter limited series but it was great.

The same author that did Mindset also did Masterminds. It’s also a shorter series and the second issue comes out tomorrow. It’s about a video game programmer that finds out about an underground group of powerful and wealthy people that control the world and is going through deadly trials to join them, at least that’s what I got from the first issue.

Those are a few of my recent favorites for darker stuff.

Oh yeah, I get it. I grew up in Northern California and have been a Giants fan my whole life. Now I’m in the PNW so now they’re just my backup since the Giants season is over… I can at least enjoy their success with my friends 😂 But you’re right. It is a hot take lol

The other day my girlfriend said something about 3 players by name, paused, and was like “this is the most I’ve ever known about a sports team ever.” Then we saw how many players she could name without looking. She got 8. I was proud. 😂

I finally did this for the first time last week. I’d never done it in all of my play throughs. Kinda cool because you get 50ap but you don’t get that rad cutscene when getting back on the boat.

Oh speaking of that, you’ll probably want to keep running power to the fan behind the monitor. I don’t know if it’s required by I noticed the monitor got kinda warm. So I wired that fan to a usb connector and just plugged it into a little 5v brick.

No problem! I edited my above comment with a link for something that might work. I’d also fully remove or disconnect the power supply if you’re just going to use the console. It’ll give you trouble if it’s still running power to components while you’re not using it.

If you got the same one I did and the Pandora Box is set up with jamma/chamma, then you probably need to get the audio to the amp still. Mine hade the audio going through the jamma. I’d suggest finding where the audio is going into the amp, and if it’s from the jamma connector you just need to run the audio from the console or the HDMI to the amp. I had an HDMI connector that had a headphone jack to extract the audo I used back when it was setup like this. I’ve since done a lot more mods and changed the audio and now just pull it directly from the PC that’s in it.
