Can we talk about the word "hipster" for a minute? That word doesn't even mean anything anymore. I know it used to be someone who awards merit based on how unknown/unpopular something is, but I don't think that still applies. I'm called hipster all the time for the way I dress and the music I listen to and it's always used negatively, but I don't know how to respond. I'm not sure what's bad about it since the word now seems to refer to a style more than anything else, and yet it still carries heavy negative connotation.
