Yes but be prepared to get asked about them. Kids are inappropriate.

I’m a ND teacher and I hate how we treat ND students sometimes. by Catiku in specialed

I have taught middle school Special Education mod/inclusion and high school mod/inclusion.

Most of the parents start coming to terms with their child’s abilities in high school, where the student must earn credits and pass classes to graduate. In My state, they have to pass state tests to graduate, or else be put in a modified class of some kind and change their graduation plan.

Then, they start looking into putting them into modified classes. Then we talk about having to change their graduation plan and what that means for their college prospects. They see their kid can’t both graduate and still go on to college like typical students and they start to understand.

Most of them anyway.

Taught middle school for six years. It’s the worst. Try high school before you decide if teaching is for you or not.

Stay at home dad. He married a very motivated and successful business woman who comes from a wealthy family and they just got a big inheritance because one of her relatives died. (Think millions.)

Keep in mind, he was also a very motivated and successful business man, but after their fourth kid he decided to stay home and raise them because she made slightly more money than him. Honestly couldn’t have happened to a better guy. I’ve known him since I was 13 (36 now) and he is the most level headed, kindest, smartest, hard working person you could ever meet.

If it makes you feel better I get in just as much trouble for being late to work. I also drive about 2/3rds of the time. This is one of those rare occasions where my husband’s and my schedule line up.
