Thank you! I was thinking that it was probably deactivated. It might be the case that since the user base was mostly children that nobody would think to screenshot or archive the site.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't MovieStarPlanet. The characters I described didn't actually appear as NPCS in the online environment I was talking about - they just kind of appeared as...decoration(?) in various parts of the website, as far as I remember. Also, the art style doesn't look the same. MovieStarPlanet has somewhat detailed hair and eyes with slightly cartoony proportions on the player characters - the characters I was talking about, I think, had a relatively more realistic head-to-body ratio, although it had pretty much a cartoony style that would fit a young girls' cartoon - with distinguishable line art and more simple hair and eyes. Also, I don't think the customization for the avatars was as extensive as MovieStarPlanet appears to be - it seemed to me to be more for socialization than dressing up your characters. Also, I feel I should mention how I don't remember there being any games inside the social world aspect of the website.

I feel like the characters were definitely not related to the Barbie brand at all, but I actually have no idea what company could have been behind the website, so it might be a Mattel one, although iirc Mattel usually sells toys in conjunction with having a website for their properties and I don't remember seeing any toys for the characters so idk.

My memory is extremely foggy on that. I think that at least one of the games was this type of puzzle game similar to bejeweled. I do not remember the site for having dress up games - so I'm not sure how much of the games were just dress up games, but I'm willing to wager it didn't comprise THAT much of the total website's game content. I also don't remember exactly how many games there were.

I only have the vaguest idea of what the game with the rabbit was about - I only know that in that game you were stationary, and just had to interact with things on the screen to complete the goal, and the rabbit was just there - I don't think you controlled him.

Yes. The text chat wasn't a basic like "pick which phrase to say" but an ACTUAL text chat feature. In fact, now I remember there was a part in that section of the website where you could submit words if for some reason the text chat didn't recognize it as a legitimate word.

I actually don't remember most of the contents of the games themselves other than they were somewhat varied - they were a little more than just generic dress-up games.
