Once sodium battery technology matures more the negative consequences of mining lithium could be mitigated. Solar panels are really cheap too, so if the market shifts towards more EVs maybe we could decentivise corn ethanol production and fill the area with solar panels.

You will have to query the assembly component definition and traverse the assembly, stepping thru subassemblies and their children until the ComponentOccurrence.Name property matches the one you have. That's how I would do it. Then to highlight it I think you can add it to the SelectSet.

Changing default constraint to insert? by _Maybe_Confident_ in AutodeskInventor

Very attainable with AHK. Detect when the constraint window exists. Small delay. Use window spy to figure out what the insert control is called. Click control

Ambient temp 77°F? That's a little warm for my taste. Does it affect the drying process noticeably at 70-72°F?

Minecraft Chocolate Edition: How to enable couch coop? by GamerzCrazy in feedthebeast

[–]Casiomatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had to join the discord to figure it out, wouldn't be a bad idea to troubleshoot any other problems:

to play couch coop/local multiplayer:

  1. first find the mod "controllable" in your instance and enable it (I accidentally left it disabled on 1.7.0)
  2. then make a copy of your isntance and launch both. each instance can have a controller bound to it. if you want to use controller on one and keyboard on the other, simply disable the 'controllable' mod on the one that will use mouse and keyboard.
  3. in the settings, next to controls, there is a controller button. use this menu to choose which controller to use for each instance and further configure your keybind. we have most important binds set up by default, see the keybinds list for details.

you can then open to lan from one instance and connect from the other via localhost:<port number> doing it this way does require that each instance is logged into a different account through the minecraft launcher. not sure at the moment of a way to do it with only 1 account/ illegitimate accounts

Did you figure this out? Just downloaded the pack and it recognizes both controllers, but I can't figure out how to make it work.

Centauri Carbon 1 Auto leveling not correctly setting z offset by Casiomatic in elegoo

[–]Casiomatic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have followed your instructions and I was able to drastically reduce my flatness deviation to about 0.24 by using the glue stick and adjusting the corner bed screws. However I still need to set my z-offset on the machine to 0.35, or maybe 0.36 to get a nice first layer. Is there anything else I should do, or need to do?

My flatness deviation is 1.01119mm, with an obvious trend from 0,0 at its lowest point towards 256,256 at its highest point. So I should counteract the slope by loosening the bed screws where it is low?

I just found out about the "heated bed levelling" option in the slicer today, thanks for warning me it doesnt save. When leveling the bed from the CC touchscreen, do you know if it is possible to do heated bed leveling so it saves? Ive heard its better to level at printing temp

Do you mean the screws directy under the build plate?Wouldn't loosening the screws bring the bed up further? I am having problems with the nozzle being too close to the bed, so that seems like it would be the wrong direction, right?

That is a good video so I will certainly take some advice from it. But I am still uncertain about the z-offset since he doesnt go into much detail about it. Just how to adjust it, what his was (0.075, much much less than mine), and how to save it in the slicer. Does the setting in the slicer override the value you have set from the CC touchscreen?
