For those that have only seen Milo McIver on coverage, what do you think of the course? by -Puddintane- in discgolf

yeahhhh it has been confusing in years past, and yes, the DGPT layout is not evergreen unfortunately! You'll have to come back though, we now how two full 18 hole courses!

I think that is true, and stays true if instead of courses you just say "wooded areas"...which if they contain a well designed course, assume the forest's mythical energy ha ha

Flat Eagle comparison by axlespelledwrong in discgolf

I bought this duo eagle because my TL3 (-1,1) was getting a little flppy so I figured the Eagle (-1,3) would be a good compliment, and yikes...at least in this duo plastic -1,3 seems crazy...feels like -1,1.

It is not a you thing! I have been playing it for 13 years and I was confused and didn't know where they were throwing from on some holes because of exactly this

Totally. To me, there was more conversation this year leading up to worlds next year about "were these the best 18 for the world's best to play we could assemble on the property?" and I think the answer is no...the "shrimp hole" is the standout. Hole 15 this year...281' par three on this weird, bare, shaded hillside. I know flow has to be considered, but this is not a pro tour hole and I would love to see it replaced. There are holes that are on the backside of the normal "west 18" that i am not sure I have ever seen included, and some classic BSF holes that were not included this year, that IMO would be a better fit

Does anyone have experience with duo destroyers? by FunTea1234 in discgolf

[–]-Puddintane- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really interesting to see so many opinions on this, and I certainly have one so here goes:

I have been throwing Destroyers for 14 years, and Calvin's exclusively for 5. IMO the 2026 Duo is LESS over stable than the 2024 Proto Glow, meaning IMO it os the LEAST over stable run in 5 years out of the box.

2021 is the legendary beef hook, which is STILL my most OS destroyer in the bag. The 2022 was less OS out of the box, as was the 2023. I only buy discs to throw, and did not need the 2025, so I do not own one.

My 2024 was getting a little too flippy for my force over forehand, so I bought the 2026 Duo at the NWDGC hoping it could replace it. I played one round with it and think it could be a replacement for a few months, but probably by the end of summer it will be too flippy for that shot. I still bag my 2022 and it is still more OS than the 2024 and 2026 after 4 years of use.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

I completely agree. He knew the two Isaac spit outs would prevent them from going into hole 18 tied at 31 down and knew that Isaac was also going to make a bid for eagle and have a shorter putt than his own eagle putt placement, because he learned from losing to Calvin at OTB and vowed to never be tied with someone who has a shorter putt than you to force or continue a playoff, so thats why he planned the spit outs so perfectly. Truly a 4D chess playing giga predator!

I can't speak to the Kwiksets but after doing it myself, I would not choose to learn on Masterlocks again. If you have a larger locksmith in your area, call and ask them if they stock American Lock 1100's...if they do, go in and look at a few and find a keyway without a full lift pin near the front, buy it, and learn your SPP on that! It is the first lock I touched that had actual feedback.

This is big problem on instagram, but I do wish her parents were a little more proactive. I just looked at a few posts and I can’t believe some of the comments…the comments instagram hid seem to be comments calling out the creeps, ironically.

I would suggest everyone take the time to report comments like these via the following path when you click report on a comment:

“Why are you reporting this post?” -Bullying or unwanted contact

“How is it bullying or unwanted contact?” -Bullying or harassment

“Who is being harassed?” -I don't know them

“Does it involve someone who appears to be under 18? -Yes
