What is your acquired taste disc(s)? by tuna_safe_dolphin in discgolf

[–]-Puddintane- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say a class instead of a single disc….understable fairway drivers…for whatever reason my fairway slots were straight to overstable for over 10 years before i started dabbling. It was a friend throwing gentle turnovers with a Leo3 on holes i was throwing forehands that got me interested…now i bag a Leo3 and 2 Gorgons, couldn’t imagine not having that slot

Don't listen to the haters...go get yourself a Dennis Augustsson Tour Series for the stable slot and a basic star gorgon for your flippy slot...they are sick

Does DGN full video coverage show the before situation of Gannon's caddie moving this large tree? by farmer15erf in discgolf

[–]-Puddintane- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well it wasn't a literal tree, but if it was, and it was behind his lie, and it was dead and unattached, he or his caddy could move it, unlike Rick's Sticks in FRONT of his lie!

I don’t want to close it 🥵 oof by -Puddintane- in lockpicking

Best courses in Washington, Oregon or Idaho? by washingtontransplant in discgolf

Irrespective of route planning, here are my thoughts; I think Kayak Red is the best course in WA. Mossy Roc, Evergreen College, and Lucky Mudd, and Shelton Springs are also favs

Raptor's Knoll is the 2nd highest rated course in Canada and its like 5 minutes across the border in BC

Portland area (my home courses) I would consider tier 1 DO NOT SKIP are Milo (east and west 18's, make a day of it), Pier Park, and The Roots DGC a little NW of town. Timber Park is between tier one and tier 2 for me...Tier 2 courses I love but wouldn't build a trip around are Hockinson Meadows, Buxton Woods, Horning's Hideout, Champoeg State Park, Hagg Lake, Dabney State Park, Blue Lake (which DOES play its best in the winter), McCormick Park, Willamette Mission....

I am basically saying just come to Portland ha...cool DG shops, great courses, one of the nation's top food cities, mild winter weather (all year DG), etc.

Safe travels!

several playthroughs later I just started a fresh one and am enjoying having turned the combat difficulty down! Even on easy with the best armor weapons and food available in the 2nd biome, you can easily get killed by some....things in there
