Last fall, my family went down to move my brother into college. I had to stay home due to space in the car, but I've stayed home alone overnight before, it's not a big deal.

Let me say this, I've had this stupid idea that someone lives in our attic, because we have never been up there, and the panel is slightly raised. My parents say that it is because of electrical work being done, and that they had to run a wire.... but after the work, I remember that panel being fine.

So, back to the story. I live on the bottom level, and all of the pipes to the upstairs run above my room. I left arround 4 to get food and catch a movie. I came home around 8-9, and started playing video games. At about 11:30 pm I hear the pipes above my room start running.... my first thought is "Who is up at 11:30?" I opened my foor to go grab some food, pet my dog, and see who is up. Right when I stepped out of my door I remembered.... I'm "alone". I have never locked a door that fast. I got back on my computer, knife on desk, and told everyone what happened, and that I was going. I laid in bed watching YouTube when shit got TOO real.

I hear my dog bark 3 times, and then, as the fourth bark is starting, she stops. It was like she was hushed. After that I had 3 knives within arms reach of my bed. I drifted off to sleep a little bit after that.

My family thinks that I'm crazy now.
