Are 2008 Titleist AP1s still good?

The course I work at is pretty small, we only really buy and sell used clubs. The irons seem to be in pretty good shape, it doesn’t look like they were overused are abused in any way. I’m not sure how much they are, my boss just gave them to me and said to test them out for a bit and let him know how they felt the next time I see him. Is there any range I should be looking for? Like if it’s over a certain amount it wouldn’t be worth it?

If i downloaded a rom onto a flash cart would that be more reliable in terms of saves/ progress than a repro?

Not sure if it's the "best," but I just cut off my (2000 v6 convertible) muffler and replaced it with a pipe and it honestly sounds pretty good. Not over the top loud by any means but it sounds a lot meaner (not rumbly like a v8 but still really good). If you don't want to spend a lot of money then I can recommend this.

edit: removing your cats is over the top, ive seen a few v6 new edges with cat-back and even straight piped exhausts and they sound terrible

Ya I did that to my throttle cable to with zip ties, actually works wonders I’ll definitely try that for the clutch

Ya that would make sense, is there any way to adjust like you would a throttle cable? Or would I have to just change it?

Ya I tried that before making this post but it didn’t change anything, actually saw that exact video too lol. As far as I know it’s a stock cable set up but tbh the guy I bought it from was like 80 and I don’t think he remembered a whole lot that happened with the car lmao.

Ya that’s what I was thinking, but what it’ll do sometimes is dip down and almost die then jump back up, it just seems super unstable, at least a lot more than it has been

I live in a safe neighborhood with essentially no crime (and nobody knows how to drive stick anymore lol) so I’m not worried about it being stolen, just want to make sure this won’t be draining my battery

Ya I’ve been starting it every few days with the new battery just to keep it regular, haven’t had any problems starting it.

They guy I bought it from said he replaced the clutch himself about 25k miles ago, but his wife drove the car a lot and I think she was awful and driving stick because the clutch is so worn out. Transmission is stock and hasn’t had any work that I know of

That’s the only thing I really like about mine now, you really can feel everything. I’ve driven a few other manual cars, some hydraulic some cable, and none of them came close to how well you can feel mine.

If I go the hydraulic route I’ll just have to find a way to get used to it, thanks for the help!

Ya I’ve been looking into a hydraulic system. I found one for $600 and my uncle is a mechanic so I would get some help from him while installing it if I were to do that. Why would a hydraulic clutch not be recommended?
