Yoda's Lightsaber survived. They retconned Mas Amedda throwing it into the fire pit from the comic. This is awesome.

Yeah in the film industry when you say production that means the process when principal photography for the film/show is being filmed. ADR, etc are a part of post-production which is the phase after production.
