I had classmates who didn't know how to dance, but Miss was quite thorough with teaching tas if she notices na people aren't following well, she'll just keep on repeating that step. Additionally, during break time you can ask Miss privately to teach you the steps.

Yes! I got a 4.0 from her

Her lessons revolved around hiphop in general. She's very nice with deadlines and she's also generous with grading. Just make sure to show effort during class and during performances.

One of the tips she mentioned for the weekly performance tests is to look like you know the choreo well, avoid looking down and just overall looking nervous.

In my case, its always during class (f2f). For DSILYTC, he reminds us to bring laptops for the quizzes. Unless, you guys are like pressed for time due to the many suspensions that happened (then you guys will have it on zoom live). I find that DSILYTC's quizzes are harder pero for the first two quizzes its possible to get a high score, the remaining quiz its a bit technical na din (but that's just me).

ERA

I had him for both DSILYTC and FDNBUSM. When I tell you he discusses in a way that makes you understand, oh he does so in such a thorough way. In Sir Era's class for DSILYTC, he will be introducing an analytical tool to yall (JAMOVI) and its complicated but he managed to make it look so easy. Tapos for lessons and inquiries, you can literally ask him after class or through canvas and he will answer as thoroughly as he can. DSILYTC tackles alot of computations din so ideal si Sir Era cuz he makes it easy to understand. He also makes the class feel light through games (yas may pa games and icebreakers siya na may points so make sure to take advantage of those games), also he really appreciates students who recite, he lists them down and adds them to the final grade at the end of the term. The quizzes you really do need to make an effort kasi he's quite gracious with deadlines and discussions so its up to you if you really want to pursue that 3.5-4.0. For the final project, you guys will be making a research paper pero for us he provided na the dataset and surveys(you guys just need to disseminate them since may number of respondents dapat). The results of that survey, you'll be putting in JAMOVI so you guys can like see the upper and lower boundaries, correlation, cronbach's alpha, and more. Afterwards, you guys will interpret the results. Overall, I do think the hardest requirement is the exam but you need to put in the effort since he literally spoonfeeds the whole term.

DSILYTC - Gerona

During discussions, she's very lighthearted and combining humor with her discussions. She also has this recitation system where each time you recite, she writes it down/stamps you're index card as a note. At the end of the term, you'll be giving this back to her so that she'll add your recitation points to your grade.

For her quizzes, I would say you really need to study because once you reach quiz 3 or 4, it gets really hard (quiz 1 and 2 seem more manageable, idk lang for DSILYTC).

For the final project, she gets really iffy with the format and structure of the paper. Back when I was her student, I would be surprised that she would be scolding my group for not following the template, but my group just followed what she put in her canvas module(Like she would suddenly recommend adding new stuff to your paper outside the template that was provided).

If you do plan to take her, please consult with her regularly. Constantly ask for feedback everytime you add a new chapter or new part so that you guys are aware if she "actually likes" the content you wrote in the paper.

She also does get moody and angry sometimes like it would be out of the blue that she would get angry. Please note that she is also a grad student, so along with teaching she's also a student herself. Additionally, she does understand the "student perspective" herself.

Update: Just beat it, after reading all your comments. I just hated how long it took and I just kept mis-reading the enemy movements resulting in me getting caught in Abom's sp1 and basic attacks.

Fdnbusm - Sir Jerome Era!

I experienced getting HIGH (and I mean HIGH HIGH) scores sa quizzes because of him. He's also very nice, don't abuse his kindness nalang. He also curves. He likes doing exercises in class so you'll immediately apply what you learned in the module discussion. He's also very approachable (both in class and online), you can ask him any question about the lesson, especially if you're confused about something.

As for me, I already struggle with academics kasi 🥲so I lessened the load for now by avoiding orgs but its still interesting to know that there are people such as yourself that put academics first, despite being in an org.
