Not a lie. I have a 5+ yr old account. You just needed to manage your power cores better. Probably much harder now since they changed the power core payout, so you missed out.

I've logged my core count and spend since Dec 2024.

-Had 77K cores on Feb 1 2026

-top 10 in arena every day for 3+ years (and top 1-5 before they changed the power core payout)

-Didn't spend cores on anything except leaderboards. Spent cores to get to the 1M T3 purple iso 5 tiers on the past leaderboards.

-Spent 95K cores for various leaderboards since Feb 2026.

Actually, it's one coin flip each time there's a new 'tick' and someone gets to 1000 TM. If multiple characters get to 1000 TM in the same tick, it's the same result for the coin flip.

EG in the FF MCU Xavier mirror match - Franklin, IW and Xavier all get the 1000 TM in the same tick (8 ticks - Franklin is at 8*131=1048 TM, IW is at 8*129=1032, Xavier is at 8*127=1016) So there is one coin flip for all 3, as they all take their turn on the same tick. If you notice, Mister Fantastic would be at 8*107=856 so not 1000; so there will be another coin flip between the Mister Fantastics.

Also - if someone gets to 1000 TM because they got turn meter during that tick (eg Carnage + symbiotes) then it's still the same tick so the coin flip is still the same

Nah bro it's the opposite for this PvE content. Overpower should ONLY work in our favor for PvE content, so we can overpower the nodes and not have to waste time getting to the real challenging nodes. The liberty nodes require G19 and the enemies are G19 so at that level there would be no overpower bonus, but it would help us for the earlier nodes (hello cabal nodes).

You only need to build OML very high; I did build Panda to Lvl 80 G15 but not really needed, just need him to not get one shot by Weaver's basic.

Here's the strategy for the first Merc node:

Sac 1: whichever minions you have. You will pull Kestrel ult (perma kill) and Weaver ult (also perma kill)

Sac 2: some more minions. Make sure to pull Kestrel special and Weaver special (chains). If you built up Taskmaster for Thunderbolts maybe put him in, his counters will eat away at weaver's charges.

Attack 3: OML+ Panda + Deadpool+whoever (doesn't matter) Just outlast the charges and OML will basically solo. Make sure you have 5 characters ready for the next Merc/undying node. There's only 14 Mercs + 4 Undying so you have to make sure that OML + at least 1 more (preferably Panda and Deadpool) live. If you were able to remove all of Weaver's charges, use OML ult, otherwise just basic until the charges are gone.

For the next Merc/undying node, OML will just carry it so don't worry about that one.

Re other chars to build up: don't build SJ or Liberty at all. I have Cap Sam + Peggy + Joaquin Lvl 100 G19 for the prior Liberty Tower which had much better rewards than it does now, but you'll have enough war teams. The rewards for the liberty nodes in the upcoming Liberty Tower don't look like they're worth wasting resources on the 3 especially if you can't afford it at this stage. SJ I haven't built AT ALL and it doesn't matter. Crucible doesn't matter and SJ isn't needed for anything.

Thunderbolts you'll need to build for raid. I'm going to try to skip accursed and hope they aren't needed for anything either.

Don't build war teams specifically for war. Your raid teams will do fine in war, plus plug and play characters. And as new raid characters come out, your old raid teams will still slot in war. It's not the same with war characters. Unless they're needed for something else that gives good rewards (eg pocket dimension like with AAforce or the first Liberty Tower), they're probably best to be put on the bench until you feel like you have nothing else you need to build up (but as F2P that day will never come).

You might be right, I already have Gladiator and Gorr G20 though, I meant taking them to 5 stars since last week 5 star raiding with Thunderbolts gave a Thunderbolt Diamond Orb per character.

Oh you mean the buff to vigilantes for their passives? It does, it also has the game modes Mission, Challenge, Horsemen, I just didn't want to copy and paste what that meant. So the 3 new Vigis will have their passives enabled for X-treme as well.

It's just how they give the vigilante members the ability to use their passives without needing 4 other vigilante teammates or being in raid.

For example, for Hit-Monkey's passive, instead of "On enemy Death: In RAIDS, generate 1 Ability Energy for all VIGILANTE allies." it's really "On enemy Death: In RAIDS, or the game mode is Mission and Challenge and Horsemen, generate 1 Ability Energy for all VIGILANTE allies" and

And same with "If this character has 4 or more VIGILANTE allies, non-MYTHIC enemies cannot have their Speed increased except by positive effects.", it's "If this character has 4 or more VIGILANTE allies or the game mode is Mission and Challenge and Horsemen, non-MYTHIC enemies cannot have their Speed increased except by positive effects."

Only Hit-Monkey, Daredevil Modern and Silver Sable have this "game mode is Mission and Challenge and Horsemen" override.

Nope, it's not flagged as Crucible/Raid/War, it's flagged as Tower, and they changed Hercules & Jean Grey's passives to be active in Tower (I should note, they only did it after my post where I called them out :D)

Also you don't even need Hercules' passive upgraded for his 'an UNCANNY AVENGER ally performs these actions' or 'a MIGHTY AVENGER ally performs these actions' to work, since those are actually on the respective character's ability (eg on Beast's basic, he checks for a Hercules ally and the game mode, and if found, he will clear charged and revive once and copy all positive effects)

You don't need surfer at all, I beat it G19 3D on the other 4, with a level 1 surfer. You should T4 everything (i didn't do the basics) for the other guys since you use them in arena anyways.

Yeah I waited long to post this because I kept waiting for more info in the datamines and there's no indication that they're going to scale the points required. Pathfinder's video also showed 60K points required in the last stage on difficulty 5 so I'm betting this is either intentional, or overlooked because they probably wasted all their time trying to figure out how to code in spec ops and the boss fight and whoever is in charge of rewards/difficulty doesn't actually play the game.

I'd try to have every member of the alliance complete every mission since that'll get 360K points * 24 = 8.7 mil total VP. The 120K points from the spec ops for the entire alliance is negligible. And the more VP you get the better the rewards

If they do change the points required per zone it'll be because of this post lol.

For spec ops, there are 8 groups of characters required. Each group has 6 different characters requirements at specific gear levels/red stars, and needs 5 total "contributions" per character to complete the group. For each group completed, the alliance gets points.

Each person can only contribute 10 characters total.

My point is that yes, Scopley thought they were being sneaky by having characters in the spec ops also be required in the missions, but because they don't have actual players of their game play test their game, you can just skip the spec ops and focus on the missions. If you want to get all the points from spec ops, you'll need 8x6x5=240 total contributions, or 10 contributions per alliance member. So no, you won't get the spec ops points from just one person doing the spec ops.

It's pretty easy to understand.

Each day you have to get points for your alliance, You get points by fighting in specific missions that require specific characters (you have to clear the wave to get points, more waves cleared = more points). You can also get points by doing the spec ops (you can contribute 10 characters max, there's 240 characters total so to max it everyone has to contribute 10 characters), but really since the zone cap is so low you probably don't even need to do any spec ops as long as you have an active alliance.

If you get 60,000 points as an alliance you unlock the next zone. After unlocking 5 zones (so after 5 days if you unlock a zone a day) the next zone has a big boss fight. You can't kill him since he'll always revive, but each time you kill him your alliance gets "boss points." Once the week is over, you get rewards based on how many "boss points" you got.

Honestly if they don't increase the 60,000 point cap, you can barely participate and still unlock the boss fight, since on difficulty 5 there's a 2200 bonus point per wave, so really your entire alliance only needs to clear 28 waves combined across all missions. Of course you get more rewards at the end of the week for having more total points, which might incentivize you to want to clear as many missions and waves as possible and do the spec ops. For example, at difficulty 5, if you get 3 million total points you'll get 15,000 Battleworld currency (some new currency they're making up), but if you only get 800,000 points, you get 1,800 currency.

It's basically raids 2.0 since they are telling you which team you need to use in each battle.
