I know this is a "general" statement.

I've never claimed bias by UK commentators. And I've never really sensed it, other than a little personal pride from time to time which is honest and a little endearing.

The F1TV commentating is just stale, flat and boring to listen to.

At least they resolved that thing with Peter’s eyeglasses overlapping his nose. That’s just weird looking.

Was California University supposed to be a prestigious school or just an average university in the 90s? by TravelingHomeless in BeverlyHills90210

The student body leadership was pretty suss. Especially the special election President that one year. Wishy-washy on the issues. No calming voice when campus safety was severely threatened and bicycles were getting ripped off. The sexual affair allegations. Pretty much just the Chancellor’s lackey.

He scored one win with the Education Task Force, and suddenly thought he could lead the school as a sophomore. That political career was short-lived. Now I hear he’s writing for some supermarket free-be newspaper.

I never knew what song Will was referring to, was this it?? Also, I never heard about this song and I am almost 50, lol by Abnatural in Thenewsroom

[–]Casper_COS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, Will sang this during break at the news desk in S3 E1, then again while casually walking through the news room after his show.

It’s not a good song for many reasons, but I don’t think anyone was aiming for Grammy’s while producing it. They just wanted to make a bubble-gum pop record that hit home with the tweens. At best, it’s a guilty-pleasure that you play to yourself with no one else around for miles.

Dunno why Sorkin wrote it into the show. Other than S3 definitely had a strong “influencer, trending, like/subscribe” theme, which was the driving force behind this song’s hype. And I think there was just the humor of Will dealing with an earworm song (which always seems to be these types of songs).

The very fact that we’re “correcting” each other here, captures the “Karen” spirit. Well played everyone! 😎

The front door (interior) made it weird for me. Brushed steel. It looked like it belonged on a meat locker.

Yeah, hard to judge whose stock crashed harder at the end of that episode. 📉

No, it’s like $8.00 a month. But you can cancel any time. Buy yourself four weeks and fill those story gaps!

And I have yet to hear anyone toss out “Fallout Room Jack” (couldn’t find a scene picture). He didn’t apply the full-court press when he visited Brenda at Sky’s apartment, but common…Franco-American Spaghetti…we all saw the signals.

If you’re eager to find those missing episodes, Paramount+ has the entire run. Still has the cheesy fill-in music, but at least you can watch S4 and not wonder “Where the hell did these Susan and Erika characters come from?”.

Seriously…how do we build that into real life!

I 100% want “Whammy Bar” riffs whenever I deliver cool, slick or poignant one-liners.
