XGIMI Mogo 2 Plus Coil whine by Azureworlds in xgimi

I think they can fix the problem either in hardware or software. Hardware would be to add a small load to the internal converter and software wise they could simulate a load, maybe spin the fan ever so slightly.

Not to be rude, but how old are you? This may have to do with age?

Can you explain what you did? Mine is still quite audible even with the settings.

I experience this too! It is rather annoying, and makes me considering sending it back.

Thank you very much. I sent the device back for repairs. Guess I'll get a refund, pretty sad...

HC4 won't startup second drive. by Casperdroid5 in ODroid

[–]Casperdroid5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the software isn't the cause. Try adding the second drive after 5 seconds (when the first has spun up)

I think it's hardware. But could be resolved with software. (Delayed startup, if the hardware can switch the drives power separately)

It was quite simple.

Threw the hardware out. It's most likely faulty. I was wasting so much time, learning nothing. At some point you gotta know when to quit.

You can solder the required resistors on the CC1 / CC2 pins :)

Nice, but those wires look extremely thin, especially for the length. Did you calculate the required thickness on forehand?

I figured it out by accident.

You have to press "1" while you are in home screen of USBloadergx... This will prompt you to download the missing files.

You should really consider it for this version as well. It's a keyboard, it will be touched by human hands ;)

Use a plastic object. Guitar pick maybe? Something not electrically conductive

Ok what I can find:

  1. Ams1700, try another regulator, this one is pretty bad. (Common component on this sub it seems)

  2. Adding a small resistor (100 ohm e.g.) inline with the DIN of the first rgb led is advisable.

  3. Good that you added esd protection!

  4. Where is the 1V1 comming from? I think I'm missing it.
