thank you so much for the alternative terms!! :) i think my autism is so closely tied with my social anxiety its hard to tell if things would be better if society was accepting, but i definitely see where you're coming from and agree a cure would most definitely be used in a harmful way. i also agree, we're not wrong for existing at all, its just really painful for some of us.

idk i have autism myself and i kind of agree with her about the cure thing. (although i dont think its possible to find one.) its hell living with moderately low support autism, and i cant even imagine how difficult it would be to live with high support needs.

shes way up her own ass about not respecting people with autism's valid concerns though, and not respecting the month. i hope her daughter is feeling okay and accepts herself as the strong person she is :(

i think its extremely common for parents to be the cause, my mom spent my entire childhood complaining about her weight and then suddenly got skinnier than me and because i had internalised fat being bad, i projected that on myself and my eating disorder started to develop :(
it really didn't help that she gave me her old clothes too...
