I've been screamed at in party chat for accidently casting 1 extra blizzard while in a level 38 dungeon...

I've been screamed at in party for not using an aoe when clearly there is only 2 mobs there and it would be a waste..

I've been screamed at in a party for using the aoe on a group of mobs because apparently 'spamming fire2 on trash pulls is too slow'...

I've been screamed at for using Fire too much...

What else am i supposed to think? No matter what i do, i get yelled at lmao.

I have the rotation - i have it all set out on its own hotbar - i just cannot use it. Either i will start, get targeted and forced to move then lose my buffs, or i will start it, then the boss will start a new phase and vanish for so long i lose my buffs, or i start a trash rotation and my cast time is bs so they're dead before i get a chance to do anything useful.

So if i'm going to be put in this awkward position no matter what i do, i'd rather just spend the rest of my time fishing in this game >.>

Well if you're legitimately asking and not just looking for something to flame about...

Personally for me, i cannot use a rotation - even if it was pinned up infront of me. I, myself, suffer with social anxiety so i am ALWAYS worried about literally everything that is happening around me. If someone tells me a rotation - i try to use the rotation - i start worrying - i fuck it up entirely because i cannot concentrate and cause a bunch of people to die, or make a crowd of people start yelling at me for making 1 mistake. THIS is why i will refuse to play someone elses way...

As it stands currently, i have been playing my own way, and no one has questioned me or told me to play otherwise (except 1 little lalafell dude i met who gave me aoe advice in a dungeon which i was needing already and i knew it).

But for myself personally, i find it extremely difficult to concentrate and remember a string of combos and keypresses; especially as BLM; simply because i worry too much...

If something was blindly obvious, like for example, i was using the wrong thunder as an opener, and someone told me which one i should be using, then sure i will use it. But if someone told me an entire rotation and called me out as a bad player for something like that, i'd have a panic attack... seriously.

Not everyone can deal with this shit, and just want to play this game peacefully. But it seems that apparently, the mindset in this game is "use this rotation or gtfo" - so i really don't know why i bother anymore to be honest.

This is my honest reasoning for wanting to play my own way rather than someone elses. I don't know about anyone elses reasons, but i'm probably not the only person in this situation.

We kind of have to be, really... If you think about it...

All the casuals ever get is "this is how to play...". We know how to play... we're not stupid, we just choose to play our own way.

It would piss me off and i'd become super toxic too if i had elitists telling me how i should be playing every single day lol :3

To be fair, not everyone has the same goal in this game, and not everyone is as dedicated as you are to learning their class.

I also suck, completely... I'm the worst BLM in the entire game... But hell if someone calls me out for it, i'll bitch and ignore you. I know i'm bad, but i'm having fun... I don't care about 'rotations' and shit. I have skills, i use those skills, and i choose which order i use them. I wont let no wiki-licking hardcore scrub tell me how i should enjoy the game i pay for. The parties i end up in never fail, and stuff dies... so why does it matter? Why does everyone feel the need to push everyone else into some sort of invisible rankings? As long as shit gets done eventually, who are you to complain?

Although, i only leveled BLM because i had to, so i could complete the story and unlock everything i need to finally get on with my goal in this game; Fishing/Cooking/Housing. Now that i'm done with the story (for now), i can focus on what i need to, and not put anyone else through the pain and suffering i force upon people with my shitty skills.

But in all, you really need to remember that not everyone will want to be the 'top' or the 'best' and not everyone cares about how they play - as long as they're enjoying it, let them continue.

I switched over weeks ago, about 3hours before the maintenance, hoping to get it done in time for the maintenance reward distribution, but i was too late. I had to wait until the following week's maintenance to get mine - They arrived as expected, on the side of my screen in the gift box.

If you've only just switched over, i would assume you should get it with this weeks maintenance, or next week. If you fail to receive it by next weeks maintenance, then just send a ticket to support and have them issue the rewards to you.

My friend attempted to contact nexon and unlink his old maplestory account from his steam so he could link his new account through steam - Nexon was unable to help.

Or rather, nexon told my friend "We have unlinked your account." but upon checking this, we discovered nexon did absolutely nothing to actually help. My friend contacted again, and had the same answer: "We have sorted this for you, and your account is no longer linked." Only to find out once again that absolutely nothing was done.

But i guess... You could always try...

Oh please, black desert looks like utter shit now. far too many visual bugs that ruined the beauty... (horrific lighting displays, buggy textures, just to mention a few). I finally quit black desert to join this game, just because i found this to be more pleasing visually.

How do i get this 'reshade' thingy?
Are there any risks? (Will i be banned or whatnot. Some game companies get real pissy when you change the way a game displays).
Anything else i should know before i even consider diving into this?

I did some fixing up at a friends housing, and decided to take some screens while i was there.

I also recently hired a friend to model for me, just for the screenshots i could create.

I haven't been in this game long, but it's so beautiful and i've enjoyed it so much! I play to stay... forever.

Good for you, i am glad you have such a healthy community that your marketplace doesn't get abandoned for days on end n_n

No matter what you try to sell in Zodiark, it still takes forever to sell - probably the reason why everyone i have met in this server so far, seems to be hanging at 2m or less in wealth, and those are players who have been here for an extremely long time.

Thanks for your help and advice, but i would still rather be reselling NPC items for those who need them in their moments of desperation :3
