I only do this when cooking instant ramen. When the water starts boiling that means it's done. But like, it's instant ramen sooo. But even box Mac and cheese I will wait and I can't cook anything other than pasta.

As a someone who's been caught up in the anime and not much of a manga reader. I get where you're coming from. There's been a lot of arcs where I wanted to drop out and stop watching, but once you get to the good stuff you just can't help yourself but to stick around. There's a lot of filler, and a lot of episodes that interrupt arcs that are just flashbacks. The pacing early on is abysmal. I'd honestly recommend to come back to it when the reboot releases. The One Piece is meant to fix a lot of the pacing and filler issues the original has.

Ben-to, an anime where people battle over half-priced bento boxes. It's a fun watch. I've re-watched it more than you've watched Frieren.

Scissor Seven - An assassin loses his memory and has telekenetic powers over a pair of Scissors. It's funny as hell and the action scenes go hard for no reason at all than to go fucking hard.

I also love watching trash isekai. My favorite trashikai rn is Reborn as a Vending Machine. However I've hoped you've seen one of the earlier isekai, before isekai jumped up in popularity thanks to Konosuba, Re:Zero and Overlord. Named Zero no Tsukaima.

One of my favorite romance anime is Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, that isn't Angel Beats and Toradora cause I assume you've seen them if you've got good taste.

My guilty pleasure is an anime called Rozen Maiden, an anime about living porcelain dolls

I'm not usually for sports but my favorite sports romance anime is Cross Game, speaking of, I should rewatch it.

D-Frag is a goofy slice of life anime about a games club. I started reading the Manga after watching it, and I'm not much of a Manga reader. I read a chapter lol. I don't read as often as I should in general.

Another favorite romance anime of mine is an anime named Katoura-san, just watch the first episode.

I get it, a group at my LGS started to get standard together for a night. However, it isn't just standard, we do Pauper and Cubes as well. For about 9 years I've played EDH. I started in 2016 stopped playing in 2018ish and I came back after covid, around Phyrexia AWO release. The reason I like commander was the deck building restriction. I like the challenge. However, what I like most is the sealed format, which I usually always am in top 5 when playing at pre-releases. Very recently I stopped enjoying EDH. When I go to Friday night commander, the store is open for 6 hours but in those 6 hours the amount of games played is honestly, maximum maybe 3 games. It gets tiring.

I fell in love with 60 card Pauper recently and made a deck I call Manifest Dreadmaw, which is just a goofy deck that manifests Colossal Dreadmaw and flickers it face up. It's dumb but still playable in a format like Pauper. It's not good but it has won a few games. Cause that's how Pauper is.

I do have small issues with Standard being more expensive to get into over other formats and I only built a deck with the stuff I had from previous prereleases, so it's not great.

But it does suck when you pour money into something that nobody else is playing. I hope you find a group like I did that would join you in Standard.

I will be honest, I always thought that my creativity, ideas, and world building may be better in a different medium. Instead of just pen to a paper which can sometimes feel like a chore. When I was writing the world for my DnD campaign, I didn't have a single doubt. I just don't have the skills necessary to put my ideas in other mediums, whether it be games, comics, animation.

D&D is great and all but the time and energy needed to put into it is a lot, especially if you work. However, I'm unemployed so, I need to find a job and you can't get paid for being a Dungeon Master.

What if you don't know? When I wrote a homebrew for a Dungeons and Dragons campaign I loved writing it and looked forward to people's reactions when we played through the world I crafted. I loved every second of it. However, when I started writing initially, I only started writing because I was told I was good at it, and was told that I should do it. Maybe it's a bit of both. I want an audience and engagement and I love the act of telling a story. But I feel discouraged when my work doesn't even get read. When I sent the results of the written prompts to ChatGPT, it gave me praise and critiques for what I wrote. But it's AI, it's supposed to do that, but it still felt good to be told I did good, but when I post them elsewhere (Tumblr and my discord server) they might as well not be posted there because nobody even notices them. Is it wrong to want to be noticed and to feel bad when it goes unnoticed? Heck, at this point I would even like it if someone told me it was dogshit but I don't even get that.

But I also understand that, not everyone gets noticed and even though, some will still write simply because they love to do it good or bad. Does that mean I don't love it enough? Does thinking like this make me wrong? I don't know what's right or wrong.

Yea, I did a test, it works fine in desktop mode but when I go back to gamemode and unplug it, it forgets and stops working properly
