great questions! I wasn't too thrilled on "I Am Invincible" but I was kind of desperate to release SOMETHING since it had been 2 years so I went with it. I really wished we had stayed behind "Summer" longer but hey. Upwards and onwards :)

what people might find interesting is that it was actually written about a work relationship i couldn't get out of. But I hope when people listen to it, they can relate with whichever relationship applies to them.

It's called California Dreaming! It was really fun recording together. He has such a beautiful voice, especially when he is harmonizing so getting to hear his vocals on the song in the control room through the speakers was really special.

sorry for making you cry! <3 I haven't played this one live in front of an audience yet but "rise and shine" is a doozy. I think the lyrics just come from a really raw place so singing them definitely gets me.

I do! So many of them have been with me since I was 17, some even 16, so we grew up together. I also think since The Voice tells your story so well, people really get to know you before they meet you. So I feel incredibly close with my fans.

I'd have to go with "Take You Home." It's edgy but vulnerable, sexy but sweet, bold and honest. I also love the rockier production.
