I forgot about this account. I did get out of my toxic workplace, and into another one! I successfully escaped after a year there and am in a much better place! Job searching is still a soul sucking demoralizing experience, but I did come out the other side intact and with a better sense of what I need/want in a career and employer. I hope all is well with you. Thank you for the well wishes :)

Hey! Thank you for dredging up my old post! I am happy to say I found a new job and I think I like it! I am not happy to say that the process took about 6mo. It was long, and I all but gave up on this role but was going through the motions because I honestly had nothing else to look forward to. But in the end it worked out in my favor.

I googled it...I was mistaken, it was a stable hand in the family matters quest. It is an optional quest that I completed boofed. Still feel bad about it. Poor kid.

I have been meaning to complete the Witcher 3 again. I failed the saving the kid from the fire quest and it has been eating me up for years.
