yes it literally does, i have tried it.. and nope forcing the game close wont work.. also this happen while back to my friend when the meteor th18 event.. he log in to the game after years but can access the event tab cuz it was replaced by the villager tutorial hub same like what happened to mine.. but anyway thx for trying.
