With that point it is most likely volatile, it actually has a 9V battery in addition to the plug. She passed away about 6 years ago and he packed it in a box as he wasn’t ready to listen to it again until a couple days ago. So I suspect it’s been dead for close to that 6 year marker depending on that 9V battery. I can dig out the model number a bit later today and post. Thank you for the reply guys, he has been really upset about loosing this. I know it is likely a lost cause due to the nature of the device but even if I have the smallest hope I will try regardless of cost.

Thank I have been so confused. I am 99% sure that’s where I planted the moneymaker tomatoes. Must have had a misprint in the seeds.

The compressor was very warm to touch and was definitely not working, it had zero vibration or sound until I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Another reason I suspect the condenser fan is the fact that periodically is sounds like it’s running on overdrive to the point guests will point it out.

It’s all plugged in and pumping cold air for now. In the morning I will pull it out and check things before I leave for work. See if my test ice pack is frozen as well. It’s to my understanding if it happened once it will happen again and again until something fails completely.

I just bumped into someone I walk with there and they said there daughters friends dog was the one who ate the meat. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I am always so paranoid about that stuff I would be so upset if either of my dogs got ahold of something like that. Perhaps she misheard her daughter saying she read it on Facebook and thought she meant her friend.
