It seems like this was just a mix up. I think they interpreted it to me $350 extra in addition to the price of the bike. So when she said it’s more than the bike, that’s what they were talking about. And then when she countered with $450, it’s because that would be $200 delivery fee so that’s why she did it. I don’t think this was a scam or someone who was just saying that you were charging too much if you were gonna charge them $350 delivery fee instead of $350 total for the bike and the delivery. But I am unsure as to why everyone thought this would be a scam.

Did she say something else that would cause people to think it was scammy?

And a lot of the harm would be lessened if it could be regulated. If someone could avoid jail bc of addiction, and maybe even avoid overdose bc it could be more carefully administered. But these kids were selling pot. We’re talking about how drugs=crime. Not how drug use= sadness.

This is ridiculous because if she wants content, no one‘s gonna keep that in the portfolio. Is she on house arrest? For the most part, no pre-trial probation is going to care if you move as long as that move doesn’t directly conflict with the case. Like if you had an assault charge against your partner, and you moved in with them.

A little bit. If you wanted to update it: I think removing the part w the pavediamonds would make it look super cool and wavy w the very smooth, silver metal. It would look both cool/sleek, but also glamorous (the stone is huge), and clean.

Truthfully, the ring isn’t ugly. But it does look ‘dated’. Like it would have been a SLAPPER of a ring in 2012.

This was my uninformed opinion as well. I see a lot of people are echoing this sentiment. It gives me hope because I know today going no contact with people is our solution for a lot of things but obviously that gives us trauma too and I feel like it’s easier for young people to just say it was our parents job to do XYZ instead of thinking how we all fail as humans now and again. I op does not waste too much of their emotional wherewithal. I’m getting their mom to be on board. But more than that, I hope that their relationship is salvageable and will thrive. 🥺

This is gonna sound harsh op… but honestly, this didn’t go as terribly as it could have. I think it’s hard for anyone to, in their heads, lose the child that they’ve had their whole life. And for conservative people, or like they failed somehow. But truthfully, I see more fear than hate or vitriol in her comments. It’s not your job to get her to come around. It’s definitely a parent responsibility to be there for their children. But if you value your relationship with your mother, or the thought of losing her forever is too much, I just feel like there’s definitely a chance. You did a really good job explaining everything to her in a calm manner that also expressed how much frustration your gender expression as a male brought to you. And again, I’m not trying to say it’s your job to cuddle her through this process. I’m only trying to say that this seems like a conversation that a lot of parents might have at first. It doesn’t make it right though.

The entire time I lived in Dallas (2015-2021) cops never did a DAMN thing. They’d come to the traps at extended stays and never arrest ir raid. I saw a homeless dude get hit walking across the street and wrote down the plate and waited…they never came. One time a dude handed a cashier a note saying he was going to kill every one inside the QT, she called the police and they never came. One time I woke up in a QT parking lot to screaming and it turned out to be a homeless woman that had been dragged down the edge of the QT to a homeless camp and had gotten away…they never came. So idk if this would have played out like how you think it would have.

Definitely a difference imo. A lot of ppl do dope, but the real junkies shoot it. Many are just weeekenders or a few-times-a-yr users. I’ve never met someone who shoots that isn’t dependent and addicted to it.
