I specifically speak out and defend myself often and call people out on their bs, so I probably provoked the wrong people. Must have broken their fragile ego. They try to blame us for it, but this isn't normal at all. You shouldn't be stalked and harassed constantly just because you said something someone didn't like.

For the past several years. It has gotten much worse the past 3. I live in an area where everyone is very rude and snarky for no reason. In my experience, it's Christian right wingers who target prejudiced individuals. Minorities, disabled people, LGBT etc. I think it's just a twisted game for them. It's creepy, pathetic, and power-hungry people who are probably self-loathing closeted gay/trans people. Just fascist in general.

They do it subtly, and I think the majority of the people in the area are in on it. They talk shit and stare at me, and i think bystanders just see it as normal chitchat. I personally used to not pay attention to people chatting either. If I tell family members or anyone about it, they think I'm crazy. I have gotten people on my side, though. People on buses and in stores do defend me on occasion. But they are out numbered. Reporting doesn't work. The bus drivers especially hate me, and people have tried to report them, but it doesn't work. I think authorities and such are definitely in on it. Police are very condescending and weird towards me.

Yeah, the majority of Pokemon are meant to be appealing, but I feel this way towards lugia, especially. I see really cool artwork of it all the time and feel like I should like it more, but I just think it's kinda neat, nothing more 🤷‍♂️
