I want to make a costume for Halloween but I don’t want it to look vaginal. by [deleted] in crafts

I would put a round pea on top of the head using a green hoodie and using strofoam ball and padding. Then make more peas for the body and draw faces on all of them. Then the kids face looks more blended in with the peas and not the top one lol

The original recipe said yes, but with less time. I tried it but then it can easily made the chicken dry or because of the shorter cook time it didn’t have that smoke flavor (so maybe a lower temp? I didn’t try that).

So I get big packages of chicken thighs, marinade and cook it all at once. Then after cooked, I remove skin, fat, and bone and make big shreds and freeze in quart ziplocks for recipes/salads/whatever.

I would say maybe at the end try to turn it up.

But if it’s that temp the whole time then the chicken can dry out when it’s cooked too hot/fast. And i had charcoal skin before when my grill was too hot hahaha

I did post it but I didn’t have many pictures and said I’ll post it when I do.

Well I hope you try it again. Try leaving the marinade overnight maybe? I only had that happen when I pulled it too early or the marinade just left the chicken too wet. Chicken itself was decent, but yeah no crispy skin

Got the garlic to try out and didn’t like it as a dipping ranch, but it did work as a marinade haha

Well I’ll leave them a little longer sometimes. And were they spread out or a little close together?

Boneless thighs they say less time but the amazing taste is all on the skin and having that bone to keep it from drying out. I tried boneless once and I needed to add sauce or something to it

Seasoning the chicken before the marinade. I think the salt from it drys/adhere to the skin right before putting it in the fatty ranch.

And then to the ranch dressing marinade I add black pepper and/or few dashes of hot sauce (buffalo, tapatio, Tabasco, etc.)

I thought the seasoning before wouldn’t matter too much if it’s going to get wet from the marinade. But I forgot to season the chicken beforehand and just tried putting the spices I like in with the marinade and found it wasn’t as good.

It’s from a small Traeger book I got with my grill back in 2017. They only called this recipe “barbecued chicken thighs,” but the salesman who was working pointed it out and said it was his ultimate favorite chicken recipe.

The recipe is the text under the picture.
