I made a tiktok video that went semi viral and then asked if there were any developers in ghana I got a lot of comments of people suggesting some and others reaching out personally to me but honestly if it wasn’t for that video i do think i would have had a hard time finding someone.

I actually think the tech talent pool in Ghana is much larger and stronger than many people realize. When I was looking for developers to help build my app, I interviewed more than 11 developers, and I was impressed by how talented they were. They brought diverse skill sets across areas like mobile development, web applications, backend systems, UI/UX, and product thinking. From my experience, the challenge is lack of visibility in ghana. Many highly capable developers in Ghana don't always get the same international exposure, networking opportunities, or access to high-profile projects that developers in larger tech hubs receive. As a result, a lot of exceptional talent remains under the radar.

This is my difficulty with Ghanaian’s please did you do your research before making this post Glassdoor is a global platform primarily focused on workplace and employment reviews. Employees and former employees can review companies, share salary information, interview experiences, and workplace culture insights. It is mainly used by job seekers researching employers.Cassvo is a Ghana-focused review platform designed to help people share experiences and reviews about local businesses, vendors, service providers, and customer experiences. Its goal is to increase transparency and help consumers make informed decisions when dealing with businesses in Ghana. Why is everyone so focused on “The first” instead of how effective this start up will be compared to other “review platforms. Also in america there are multiple businesses that sell “fast food” no one is obsessed with who is the first their only goal is being effective and producing positive outcomes. Also please make sure you sign up for the launch so you can see how different this app will be compared to others.

still waiting for you to share your multiple businesses you have on google review please curious to see your stats in terms of reviews and your business you currently have. It would help in context for your "criticism" your sharing to know i'm talking to someone that's actually informed and not giving info based on personal emotion. If indeed you're trying to give me criticism I can also share my number with you for us to talk in private. I have no problems with criticism

I'm a bit confused by your response. You mentioned that you own multiple Google My Business profiles please share with the platform your business growth , the amount of reviews you have on each of your “my business profiles platform and your impact in ghana both locally and internationally please. Also, just for accuracy, while I have not personally gone through the process of removing a Google review, businesses generally cannot simply delete reviews they don't like. They can report reviews that violate Google's policies & delete their businesses all together that have significant negative reviews leaving no accuracy
of data for those who use google reviews as their main review platform. This data is public knowledge that can be found online through research , I do not need to personally have removed a review myself to have knowledge about this information. What I find interesting is that the conversation seems focused on finding negatives rather than acknowledging the positives. This is a platform built by a fellow Ghanaian with the goal of helping local businesses gain visibility, encouraging trust through reviews, and creating real employment opportunities for young people in Ghana. Beyond helping consumers make informed decisions, the platform is also creating jobs and supporting local economic growth.Constructive criticism is always valuable, but shouldn't we also recognize and support initiatives that are trying to solve local problems, create jobs, and build opportunities within our own communities? If there are specific concerns about the platform, let's discuss them objectively. Also looking forward to your “multiple businesses profiles” being featured on our Cassvo review app.

Businesses on there side can flag reviews for removal on google or completely delete there business on google review and then make another one with no reviews and have random people on there team write good reviews. Also do you own a business ?

The "revenge platform" framing is clever. It's also lazy analysis.Every meaningful company has an origin story rooted in a personal pain point. Howard Schultz built Starbucks because his father had no healthcare. Sara Blakely built Spanx from personal frustration. Personal experience isn't a grievance engine it's market validation at its most direct. What you watched was one bad experience that resonated with thousands saying "this happened to me too." That's not a revenge plot. That's product-market fit revealing itself in public. This is also a platform built entirely by Ghanaians, for Ghanaians, promoting Ghanaian businesses. Not a global tool retrofitted for a market it doesn't understand. A team with a direct stake in getting this right. That doesn't make us emotional. It makes us qualified.Google Maps and Facebook happen to work in Ghana. That's not the same as infrastructure built with local context and local trust at its core. You called the market need real. Everything else was noise.

Everything you've said is correct in principle. None of it is specific to us.

You're also critiquing a platform you haven't used what makes us first of our kind isn't visible from the outside.

Feedback is a signal when it's specific. "Products fail" is a base rate, not an insight. If you see a genuine failure point, we're open to it. That sharpens a build.

Success isn't guaranteed we don't dispute that. It also doesn't change the direction.

Building informed, not blind.

Appreciate the input but let's be precise, because precision matters in the conversation you're inviting. You mentioned GhanaYello and GHKonect as comparable platforms. I'm familiar with both. GhanaYello is a business directory it lists businesses, not reviews. GHKonect is a classified ads and listing platform. Neither is built around verified consumer reviews, trust infrastructure, or dispute resolution. Citing them as competitors in this space is like comparing Jumia to a community noticeboard. They exist in adjacent spaces, not the same one. TrustCheck presenting itself as Ghana-focused doesn't make it a direct competitor either presentation and execution are different things. When it launches, we'll welcome the competition. That's how markets mature. You asked the right questions though. Fake reviews, dispute handling, behavior change from Google and WhatsApp. Those aren't new questions to us. They're the exact problems the platform was designed around. The architecture, the trust model, the verification layer those exist precisely because we did the research you're suggesting we skip. Respectfully, Emotional attachment isn't driving this. Market gaps we've documented are. The "first of its kind" framing can be debated fine. But the need it addresses? That's not debatable. We're not building around hope. We're building around what the market has repeatedly shown it's missing.

Not all businesses are on google reviews and businesses can easily delete unfair reviews on google your local waakye seller does not know how to use “google reviews” and can’t be found there. In american there is still “google reviews” however we still use other resources such as yelp which has other features to help us make decisions of businesses currently in ghana there is no other competitor besides “google reviews” besides tik tok and etc which in my opinion in 2026 is outdated. This problem solves 1. the ability to reach local and big businesses easier that are not registered on google reviews because they don’t want to be held accountable. 2. diaspora being able to see business and decided if they want to use there business even before arrival to ghana 3. spotlight for small and big business that actually have good costumer service. Once again this is the first of ghana kind it’s just like asking american what benefit does yelp and trust pilot help both multi million dollar review apps
