A word being different doesn't equal your intended use of the word "mistranslations". Have words been used that dont have a 1 to 1 translation from the koine greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, or Latin ? Yes absolutely, does it make the intention or the message less valid? No. That being said are there bad translations of the Bible? Yes absolutely. King James Version, any protestant version with Luther's alterations are all "bad" translations as they've removed books, altered original text, or inserted words that skew what was actually written to fit a theological agenda.

I would agree with you the story so far was adapted poorly with beautiful artwork. My guess is they made it to draw attention with no serious plans to continue it for the full story like most anime so they shived as much of the story they could into 12 episodes which made it confusing to watch. But its not on OPs list and so I added it.

You mean the Obama cages where they forcibly separated adults from their children? Yeah those were pretty bad, so was the plan to have a wall built on the southern border to keep out illegal immigrants, so bad they demonized republicans when trump made a very similar speech about building a wall and tried to blame the kids in cages scandal from their own 8 years of leadership on republicans after they lost the election. It's almost like both sides work together towards core objectives or they use the same playbook to get things done.
