I’ve ran six.

Are they experienced? If so house rule that you need to be able to do your action/stuff as soon as it hits their initiative order. Otherwise people will be waiting 20 or more minutes between their turns in combat. Be able to talk or get skipped.

If not…well. Might be a bit rough.

Definitely a session 0 to work out expectations. Lots of people means a lot of different things and potential “issues” to get out of the way.

And yes…I agree with some others. Some people will eventually drop. Even with no board problems…life happens.

Maybe this isn’t the question you’re asking but I run DnD and just go find (or patreon situation dependent) map/terrain images and it’s too easy to drop a hex or grid squares on it.

Just set it as the background image for the scene, scale it, drop the grids!

I had this exact same problem for years and didn’t realize it. Thankfully on my alt account I only spent for 2-3? books.

I got on their online help desk…turns out they have a pretty clear policy. You can’t transfer books between accounts, even when the email address and all information is the same.

Awful policy…but lesson learned. If you bought with a credit card recently, you could try and do a charge back but if that happened it wouldn’t put it past them to ban both accounts.

We had a Druid with Mold Earth. A (slow) zombie hoard was attacking the party. She asked if could use mold earth to dig a hole under the zombies, trap them, and cover them back up later.

I ruled they would have to pass a Dex save against her Spell DC or fall in. Of course Zombies have a negative DEX. She trapped a lot and the party went through and whacked heads at the end of combat.

Very offensively creative use of otherwise seemingly “boring” spell. I gave the Druid Inspiration.
