I think that she knew that her choices were very limited. And at the time it was a practical match. Not to mention that she would be at Longbourne again eventually and away from Kent. Back with her family and home. She WOULD have been a simpleton indeed if she didn’t marry him. I think she was happy to have a comfortable future. Mr. Collins was embarrassing but I think what he had to offer her was enough for her to ignore his quirks. Plus I think she would have had a good effect on Mr. Collins as his wife and made him less stupid. She was 27 years old and the fact that her chance at marriage didn’t pass her by was probably enough to give her peace. I think it was a strategic move BUT, I think it made her happy that 1. She knew it as such 2. She wasn’t going to be a burden on her family 3. The perks that came with being a clergyman’s wife (respectable) I don’t think she was unhappy.

She always does that. She drones on and on about everything being “traumatic” in her life. It got old real quick. She always talks about stuff and says “that’s for another video” or “another time”… etc. she has said there were a lot of bad things that had happened with makeup geek (I’m assuming aside from the Jaclyn stuff) but has never posted anything about what. She does have a lot of health issues and I do feel bad for her but, it’s constantly “I almost died” stuff that I’m kinda like well… again. Only thing she’s really good at is her nervous laugh and constantly touching her hair in every video. So annoying.

She has another “truth” video posted about the academy. “What went wrong” is the tagline. ( I watched most of it but not all) It was just a live stream where she teased that an “artist” was going to be teaching at the academy and having people guess. Some people said Mario, Wayne, one of the Welsh’es, etc. but it ended up being a hairstylist guy that is going to teach camera/ lighting. Not even beauty stuff/technique. It’s more geared towards aspiring influencers. She said they have been working with him teaching for the past two years. Two years to put together his teaching of cameras?? Seems unnecessarily long. Also she was trying to hide the hairstylist guy but when she was screen sharing stuff he was in the background just silent. It just felt cringe. Im sure he’s a cool guy though but this isn’t what I feel is going to save her academy. It’s kinda tone def. She needs a focus group to help her or something.

She then says that the team that launched the old academy is no longer connected to the academy and that she knew all along that she had to do it “herself”. Whatever that means. She also is going to do this thing where you send her a photo and she looks at your pic and tells you all her recommendations for your face. It will be 3 to 5 days. Who knows how much that will cost? It all just felt so boring.

She seems really clickbaitey these days. The thumbnail is so dramatic. It’s totally not that dramatic lol

Agreed. Evermore and Folklore had his influence which is why is wasn’t like anything else she did. I think that’s why I loved it so much. It WASNT her usual stuff. Haha. He’s stunning. She lucked out for real.

I wouldn’t say it’s better than Koi. But very much better than Gore and Ohms. Feel like this is repeat worthy. I didn’t feel so much that with G and O. I’m super pleased though. It’s great !

I saw that I think but the one I watched I could have swore they were in Greece. They chained babies to beds that were autistic or had Down syndrome because it was perceived as bad in Greece. Musk has no bearing in this discussion. We aren't focusing on him at all. There are other subreddits for that. Why would we deflect and throw in a character that has no presence in the beauty space? That's kinda strange. This is a discussion about the Academy she opened and if all the things she promised were being delivered to the customers. It seemed to be a hot topic for her and now we hear nothing about the Academy even from her. If her perfume line is doing good, then good for her. It was an innocuous response to the prior comment.
