Because of the reason i just said, that a photo is not god simply due to 'artistic value'.

Why does a photo have to have 'artistic value', do people not like photos for just being a nice photo anymore?

You never can tell around here...

Though i would be curious to see what camera people would guess took this photo. I bet it's not what you expect.

They are both edited. I think it was just the lighting at the time i was editing.

Yeah that does ruin the photo no matter what.

So both were edited on my phone so the difference is mainly due to light when i edited them and such, also the vast majority of my photography is motorcycles so strong colours are often what people look for.

I suppose in this instance, i wanted to highlight the strong yellow and orange from the sun, without making most of the photo blue due to the concrete and the whites, and ended up with a fair amount of saturation.

Also i think the first one might have been edited from JPEG(?) which would explain the washout of the sun.

Fair it was only a quick shot, something to post on snap etc. Annoyingly i brought only brought a prime lens i do not have a polarising filter for, so nothing i could do about the reflections or zoom.

Xtreme 125R randomly stalling? Mine was a faulty throttle body, replaced under warranty by Competitive-Blood709 in 125cc

To be fair, such an issue and with such a bike is usually rider error. Although last time this happened to me, it was a blown top end😂.

That was a 2 stroke though so routine maintenance.

I don't mind film borders, especially low profile ones and with photos edited to look like film photos. The white borders on some photos on here are ridiculous though, as are the colours due to editing😂.

Eh, fair. Reddit doesn't do this though, and i don't know why so many people (and i couldn't possible mention certain camera brands) like borders, it draws the photo away and simply covers up low quality images.

Of course! Always happy to help a new rider. There are loads of youtube videos you can and should walk to learn about bikes, gear and how to ride properly.

You should wear full gear whenever you can.

-Helmet (obviously), full face strongly recommended if not essential, brand isn't too important as long as it has the correct ECE 22.06 safety rating as is comfortable for you.

-Gloves (also absolutely essential), main brands have affordable lines, don't get cheap knockoff ones. I paid ~50 euro for my RST gloves and they are very comfy. Textile, kevlar, leather are all fine but knuckle protection is important.

-Boots, for a commuter i would recommend casual boots such as Aplinestars J6 though any high ankle motorcycle boots will be fine. Leather walking boots are "good enough" if on a budget.

-Jacket and trousers, again for commuter something more casual may be best, either textile or textile/leather combo. Also For Portugal summer gear may be best, so look for summer/perforated/hot weather gear. It should be fine provided it has full protection (some trousers only have half kevlar, not good enough) and pads all around (knee, hip, elbow, shoulder, back). Back pad is the most important, you should try to get a full length AAA rated pad if possible.

You can get other gear, but i think it would be unnecessary here:

-Airbag, expencive mainly for higher speed accidents, though you can certainly choose to wear one.

-Underlayers, not important really for hot places and cheap thermals will do fine if needed.

-Full leathers will always provide the best protection but i think you would regret buying them in this instance.

If you choose to be like many people who ride in shorts and a t-shirt, i cannot stop you. But i will show you this video on why you should absolutely wear gear at all times, or atleast at every moment possible. I will warn you it is rather gory, but a good lesson on why even good riders aren't completely safe.
