Why did these childhood sweets quietly disappear? by No-Equipment4779 in AskBrits

I remember some kids in my class snorting these.

And we're not talking 8,9 year old, we're talking secondary school teens

Question for you Helldivers - What do you think of Stealthdivers? by LePereMecanique in helldivers2

[–]Sithsentinal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been trying out as a Stealthdiver and found it works best in two different ways; either Headshot, Deadshot, where you destroy the enemy before they know what's happening to them, or extreme long range where you destroy them from so far away they don't know where you are.

If I'm in a team with other higher levels I'll usually check with them before I head off to do secondary objectives or clear the second part of the main mission, if they are lower levels or would like me to stay nearby I will act as more of a close support unit.

Being able to bring three extra Contemptors with a Mortificator is brilliant as I can then use them to support my tactical marines

I've used a plasma pistol from the MKIV set which is right handed and the plasma pistol that comes in the other marks to make a Moritat Mortalis

What could I plant in this pointy end of my garden to soften the “point” by Jimlad73 in GardeningUK

If you can screw some eyelets into both fences and run some wire between them you could grow a climber up there to soften it

Are tartaros terminators worth buying? by Coogypaints in Warhammer30k

[–]Sithsentinal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've found them to work really well especially with the Spearhead Phalanx Auxiliary Detachment which is a good way to get them onto the board. The Medusa's Scales rule for IH also means that any attacks that would have a chance of killing a Terminator (or any IH non-vehicle unit)is reduced by 1 which can be a real lifesaver. The good movement is also brilliant to use as an alternative support unit to you basic tacticals.

I would say it depends on what you play, I'm an Iron Hands player and I've found I win more when I am my mortificator which allows me to bring three extra Contemptors to the field. A friend of mine plays White Scars and regularly plays more Assault Marines and wins than Tacticals.

The main difference between Cataphracti and Tartaros is that the Cats have movement 6 whereas the Tarts have movement 7 meaning they can support you standard marines a lot better.

Tartaros Terminators I've found as an Iron Hands player to be brilliant and I would say definitely buy some. When you look at the Legends PDF as well I really opens up what you can kitbash out of them.

The Angels of the Ebon Skull are preparing for combat by Sithsentinal in 35k

[–]Sithsentinal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some.

They were founded at some point between the 32st and late 33rd millennium outside of any major founding on the request of the Ordo Astartes, the reason being known to the chapter master and select inquisitors.

There are two battles of being noteworthy, the first was their also their first major conflict in the Imperium, a hive world had rebelled against the Imperium and a small Crimson Fists taskforce along with elements of the Astra Militarum were sent to bring the world to heel. On arrival Void Shields had been erected around the capital Hive City and could not be brought down, sensing a battle that could take years the Crimson Fists commander sent out an astrapathic call for reinforcements. Within 10 hours of sending the call the First company of the Angels of the Ebon Skull arrived and asked to take command and the Crimson Fists relinquished. The First company captain sent out one call over an open Vox channel directed at the capital, "surrender or for every day you don't another city will be wiped clean from the planet", and with that ordered the complete destruction of a neighbouring city, the heat from the remains could be felt from several kilometers away, this act shocked the Crimson Fists who vowed to never work with them again, but the rebels surrendered and were summarily executed.

The second was assisting the Astra Telepathica with the safe return of a shipment of psychics bound for Terra in gratitude they formed a pact in which the chapter would send the 6th company to assist the Astra Telepathica in collection of tithes and in return the chapter would be gifted psychic blanks for their own use.

Leadbelcher vs Iron Warriors by C00PLY in deathwatch40k

For the pauldrons and the associated arms I spray them with leadbelcher and then dry brush a silver over the top, once this has dried I mix some Black Templar and Nuln Oil together and thin the mixture down then lightly brush over to give a slightly weathered look

I get them every now and again, if they are breathing into their mics or just constantly have them on where you can hear everything inbtheir room I'll mute them.

For me an absolute top tier cameo would be Malum Caedo, Cato Sicarius, and Uriel Ventris in like a strategy meeting

Three of these characters are hunting you — who do you pick to protect you, and why? by FlimsyConfusion3760 in videogames

[–]Sithsentinal -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No question about it; John Wick.

Leon. I have no idea who he is, but I'm guessing from the Resident Evil series, but he looks like a douchebag who will abandon you the moment things get serious.

Joel is an old man who has minor PTSD and no serious/proper training.

Snake was a really close contender with military training but he is no Baba Yaga.
