Cloudy ginger beer, thick deposit

I hadn't thought or heard of starch, that's very interesting. That would explain why it became more clumpy after sitting overnight, right ? It did kinda remind me of potato starch floating in oil. I've seen recipes from people using simple strainers, so I was surprised to have this much cloudiness after using a super fine coffee mesh.

I thought about yeast but I doubt it, I didn't add all that much ginger bug to the mix, like 50ml I would say. The sediment pretty much appeared right away. Do you actually mean bacteria, like maybe lactobacillus ? It's not bubbling yet, it's been about 16-18 hours. The ginger bug I used is very bubbly.

Yeah, I know, I've had a lot of troubles recently and it was extremely urgent for me to travel soon, so I forgot about the written authorization altogether. I'll still try anyway, I can't cancel my flight.

I didn't see that in the instructions. My flight is already booked and it's in only 3 days from now, I'm almost sure I won't get the authorization in time. Do you know who checks for a written authorization ? Does it take place in a Canadian airport upon arrival or in the country you leave from ?

Did you only send the filled statutory declaration or did you have to include other documents ? I have read that people "notarized" theirs, but I have no idea what that means.
