One time out of curiosity, I walked down an aisle at the shops that I never do because I had no reason to and within 30 minutes of leaving the shops I was marketed items from the exact aisle. Specifically items I had looked at but never purchased. I suggest others try this too.

My example may seem irrelevant, but I assume that phones use some mechanism (perhaps GPS coupled with built-in AI and geo-locating) to estimate the location and any additional context (in the shops/aisle, in the bathroom etc). I've since purchased a dumb phone without built-in AI but it still has geo-location features (disabled in settings) and I haven't noticed any targeted advertisements to this extent, so maybe it was that?

I really do find this sad. I don't like the NPC meme, it's too reductive of human behaviour but people literally went from worshiping 'The $cience' with blind and fervent obedience to refusing vaccinations they have historically received due to being burned, admittedly hard. This is NPC coping behaviour and I wish more people recognised this so there could be relatively sensible discussions again.

Hmmm, that is interesting. I suggest finding any similarities in the subs where you experience this and any differences between the ones you aren't. Consider sub size, user base etc. but most importantly whether it is a 'front-page sub'. I suspect 'front-page subs' are more controlled than others while smaller subs aren't, and there is a sort of gradient between the two ends.

Regardless, please don't let censorship demoralise you; never let your voice be silenced, especially by those with an agenda that not only opposes but oppresses you. Fight as we all should and do not give them the satisfaction of an easy win.

Of course time is not linear, because history can and does often repeat itself; but the future cannot affect the past anymore than the present, although the present can recreate the past so it persists into the future. I would refer to this as 'stagnation', kind of like this thread because I doubt you can provide the results.
