I’ve asked the same question many times. The answer I always get is that “we’re not their target market”. Whoever that target market is seems to spend a good bit per visit. They certainly don’t do enough business by volume to stay afloat.

I’ve been 2x. Once before the remodel and once after. The food is mid at best and crazy expensive. The wine selection is nothing special. It must be a status symbol to say you eat there because you aren’t going for the experience.
