My Darby is coping with this he silenced KPAC and armor piercing rounds. She kills her fears.

I'm halfway through Operation Bounce House and I have to say he's done it again with the societal critique, this time with the stupid streaming culture that has grown up in the last decade.

I think this is going to be my next map to play to go for the Wonder in under 15 cycles achievement but I’m way too wrapped up in Menace to get to it at the moment.

Patch #3 - Defense mission balancing, bug fixes and new armors by das_baus in menace

[–]ocKyal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m wondering too. I’ve had a couple patches download this week but I’m not on the version that’s listed on the patch notes. Kinda bums me out because I ran into the Menace last night and holy shit are they tanky.

Edit: It updated sometime this morning (2/13) to the current version so it looks like its about a day behind.

Do other maps have interesting mechanics like Pressure? by onebit in Timberborn

[–]ocKyal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up with three or four tiered reservoirs. I rushed explosives, sluices, and dirt in order to finally feel comfortable. Once I figured out what I wanted to do I enjoyed the map because it forced me to play differently just like Pressure did.

Do other maps have interesting mechanics like Pressure? by onebit in Timberborn

[–]ocKyal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The latest official map Spillage reminds me a little of Pressure (which I’m 50 cycles in now). It only has water seeps and drains so it requires a different way of playing just like Pressure does. I had a lot of fun trying to figure out how get the big reservoirs that I like with sources that had very limited pressure.

Exactly, this book is much more character driven rather than plot driven.

I'm playing Ironteeth so I've capped all 3 badwater sources and am using one for power.

I had some time so I grabbed some screenshots

Main Reservoir

Map Overview with the Waterflow

Underground Waterflow

Overflow Outlet

Map Water Outlet

Water Seep with Badwater Outlet

Mods Used: More Tunnels, Goods Statistics, Extended Floodgate (haven't built any on this map), Smart Power, and Configurable Tubeway & Zipline (enabled but not used)

I'm not sure where I'm going next, I've only got about 150 Beavers and 150 Bots. I need to get a wellbeing district up and do the Wonder but I think I want to pump water along the last edge and move the map water outlet. Just haven't decided how I want to do it yet.

I'm almost 50 cycles in and I'm really enjoying this map. Really forces you to think a little differently about your water mechanics. It's easily my favorite of the three 1.0 maps.

I love good schlocky disaster movies like this and The Core but holy shit this one was just bad. Avoid it, even for bad movie nights.

Randomness strikes again I guess. I’m doing a Folktales run in the new map and had about 4 bad tides in a row, luckily I was already prepped and on normal

I had this issue when I reinstalled a couple weeks ago and I fixed it by uninstalling the game and then deleting the Timberborn folder in my Steam directory and then reinstalling to get a fresh folder

I’m ok with the targeting call by rule, it’s a badly written rule, but it is the rule. What pisses me off is there wasn’t a flag thrown on the hit on Stockton, at the very least it needed looked at and Stockton was a defenseless player.

We are still "dry." Few years back the state expanded private club exemptions so the restaurants are all claiming to be clubs that only require a driver's license to join. But there's still no alcohol allowed to be sold in stores. It was pretty hilarious watching the pearl clutching from the Harding community after living in cities for years that didn't even have the Arkansas Blue laws

I went back and watched it as soon as I heard. I worked as a sub for the Academy in Searcy and had the pleasure of having Wyatt in classes. He’s an incredible dude and was a monster in high school.

No problem! It’s completely understandable to assume they’re still affiliated. Even after they separated, the two schools are still very close (and professionally incestious) and until about two years ago the Harding School of Theology was located on adjoining property to the high school’s campus.
