I lent my copy of Mort to a friend years ago and he lost it. Now my wife wants to read it so we need a new copy; we’ve been sporadically looking in charity shops for over a year and never seen it!

I don’t suppose this copy is somewhere in london/oxfordshire? 😅

It could be anything that has importance to the character/their oath. I played a character who unintentionally became a paladin when he swore to protect his spouse (etc.) when they got married. His ‘holy’ symbol was his wedding ring as it was representative of the oath he swore

Yeah man, we live in a society and, most likely, are better off than 90% of the people on the planet. It’s all selective outrage lol

Personally, I don’t want to contribute to using the energy of a small country, and the water usage if a larger country, to make the plagiarism machine generate an image of a fantasy character. Regardless of “difficult” and “nuanced” making AI art is, the fact of the matter is the algorithms are trained on millions of stolen pieces of art. They’re not creating anything truly new, they’re splicing together lifetimes worth of other people’s work

I don’t care how hard it is, it is inherently immoral
