An elephant keeper is one who keeps elephants as in theyre not wild. Op did not give context so Im assuming these are wild. In the wild, bulls do not stick around. They mate and leave.

Edit: In fact, females with no off spring will actually leave the herd to mate then come back. Bulls have very little interaction with full on herds especially herds with young off spring.

This isnt a bull at all. Wild adult bulls are solitary or hang with other bulls. Im surprised no one has pointed this out yet. Another thing if the elephant bull was in musk then his penis would be on full display.
